We stayed here for four nights and were very pleased. In addition to the cleanliness and the comfortable bed, the staff was lovely. Hot water, tea, and good coffee were available at all times. Yellowstone is an expensive area - Moose Creek was one of the least expensive options.

This is a nice motel that has been well maintained and managed. The room has been updated, nicely decorated and well laid out for the space. Our room was a king bed and it filled the room. The bed was comfortable. Smaller room size with a small shower, but we spent most time

Stayed in a queen size room. Super cute & clean. They have a good coffee bar in the morning (no breakfast thou). In walking distance of food places. Had a mini fridge and tv. Enjoyed our stay! Reasonable price for the area. Will come back.

does anyone know of any yellowstone tours pick up there?
Not sure if shuttles pick up right at Moose Creek Inn, but West Yellowstone is a very small town and it is only about 2 blocks to either of the two "main drags" (Rt. 20 and Rt. 287) so connecting with a tour shouldn't be a problem unless someone has mobility issues.

Are pets welcome. I have a small dog
We have made several trips to Yellowstone and always stay in West Yellowstone. It is much more relaxing to stay in one place and West Yellowstone is so small, there is no point in moving around. If you are staying a couple days, plan on doing either the upper or lower loop road one day and the other the next. There are a couple tourist attractions on West Yellowstone that we like, including the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and the IMAX theater. The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center allows you to come two days for one fee. There is also a small museum - all within walking distance.

I live here in town and can assure you that the roads are very driveable right now. By April it should look like summer here.

"For a quieter room ask for upstairs at either end."
"Several types of room, including cabins. I suggest getting a room with more space than the standard room, assuming this is possible."
"I think all rooms would be equal. We were in the back and not on the front, but can't imagine there is much difference."
"Ground floor.. there is no lift."
"We had the two queen bed room on the second level of the back unit, and it was a good size and quiet."
