We had a dog so we decided to stay in the cabins. I would highly recommend this if you have a pet. Easy to get in and out of to walk the dog. We liked that the bedroom was separate from the living/kitchen area, it was a very large bedroom too. The kitchenette is sufficient.

Let's be clear here - the room we stayed in was fine, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Lots of nice small touches too. The service we received when we had a problem was very poor!

Wonderful to find a place where it feels like the staff and business actually genuinely care about your experience and are not just trying to get as much of your money as possible.

I do so want this trip... but i do not drive... how will i get from the airport to your location
It would be hard to explore Yellowstone on your own without a car. I have seen the area both with a car, and on a tour bus. Both were extremely enjoyable. I would look into a tour group if I were you.

How far are you from the airport
Also about two hours maybe a little less, from Idaho falls airport. Not aware of a shuttle.

Hello, I was about to book a cabin in the Trip Advisor site. A "senior rate" comes up, yet nowhere does it state what qualifies one as a senior, AARP starts at 50 and my husband and I are both over 50. Do we qualify? Did not want to book this and have a surprise...thanks for your time.
I can't answer the question....I suggest calling them directly. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Explorer Cabins.

At what altitude is the cabin my husband gets altitude sickness.?
We didn't feel sick at all but we travelled there after being at Big Sky for a couple of days. Hard to say how it might affect your husband--I'd recommend you take precautions just in case.

Yes they have well fit out bathrooms with showers, vanity and toilets. These cabins are not rustic.
