A group of us reserved well in advance rooms for weekend of August 19 and 20. All of us had confirmation numbers for two nights, etc. Upon checking in three couples out of our group found that they did not have rooms for Saturday night. Our friends were able to look at the register and could see where they had...

I was looking for a non-smoking room with a comfortable bed so that I can sleep during the day while working two night shifts. The very courteous front desk lady gave me a key to a room facing backyard saying that I would sleep better with a lot less train noise. The room was cozy and the bathroom was huge...

It is a small hotel in a small town and the lady who ran the front counter was nice. The rooms were small and mine even had a few cobwebs and spiders to match. The water pressure in the showers was terrible like barely dribbling when warm. Turning the shower colder gave a bit more pressure but it was freezing...

We were going fishing at Canyon reservoir and needed a place to Bunk down for a couple of nights. We decided to stay at the Mustang Motel in Townsend. Truthfully it's not bad for the price. The bed is clean and comfortable. Bring your own pillow because their pillows are really small and flat. Good hot water and by the...

Ok, it's on the main road and the train goes right by, but in a strange way it's also romantic. Our motorcycle broke down and we stayed here. But, the room was clean, the girl at the check on was really helpful and nice and we meet the nicest people there! Townsend is really small but is stay at that...

The Mustang Motel is not fancy and Townsend is not very big but together they provide a nice place to stop for the night while on a bicycle tour. My room on the back side was nicely prepared but not overly large. Like another reviewer, I didn't find many electrical outlets, but that's why I carry an extension cord with...

It's what you expect. Nothing fancy. Old 70's hotel. Did have fridge, coffee pot & microwave but no hair dryer & no plug ins near the bed. Service was good on check in & it was fairly clean. My room was in the back so it was quiet. I would stay here again if in the area!!!!

The rate was cheap and I slept well, although the fridge and coffee makers did not work and the faucets/plumbing had issues. There was only one electrical plug for the whole room, and it was hidden behind the TV. They had used a power strip to offer a few more outlets but the power strip seemed to be broken and...

Stayed here with my cycling group while passing through Montana. I really didn't know what to expect from a motel in such a small town. The hotel is nothing fancy, but the prices reflect that so to be fair, i can't compare it to a pricier place. The room was quite a bit larger than i had expected, which was...

“There's less noise from trucks on the highway on the back side of the motel. But train noise is an issue, potentially in the middle of the night in all the rooms.”

“The rooms with two beds are much larger and the one i had was further from the road. I think the rooms facing the road would be noisy.”
