Clean and comfortable, it was fine for a single night. You can hear the trains, but they didn't bother me. A little pricey for the location. Family owned, they and the staff were very friendly and helpful when explaining what to expect when crossing the international boarder between US and Canada just forty miles north.

Worst place I have ever stayed! The room was filthy and outdated. The entire building was shaking throughout the night from trains, it felt like an earthquake all night and I got no sleep. I could hear my neighbors talking, the walls are paper thin. The woman at the front desk was rude and inattentive. Stay clear of this dump!

We needed a quick place to stay that was clean. This was it. it was big and has a refrigerator which was nice. It seemed clean and we had a good nights rest. I would suggest this if you need a place to stay while on your way to GNP.

Staff was welcoming, rooms were great, breakfast was below average. Didn't use the pool as it said hot tub was closed. Next to a Pizza Hut and a bar./grill. Quiet part of town except for the train yard across the street but not too busy.

You've seen those hotels and motor inns along the highway. You've shied away because you don't want to hear the scream of traffic all night. No need to worry, it's a TRULY well insulated, quiet room, that you'll be getting here. Great staff, free breakfast before you go, has a neat little pool, and a VERY refreshing hot tub. TV's...

The staff here were fantastic, friendly and made a good dinner recommendation. There are trains across the street, but I had no trouble sleeping. Room was very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable for 2 ppl and 2 dogs. Will definitely stay here again

I have stayed here before (in 2009) and been satisfied with my stay. Clean, quiet large room, a good value for the $65 rate. Pets allowed with a fee, and although it is close to the railroad tracks which pass through the city of Shelby, it was well insulated and quiet, offering a good nights' rest. I will stay here...

This is a very good place to stay, the room was clean and comfy, and everyone was friendly, the price was very reasonable for all the accommodations. It has 4 restaurants within walking distance, and has continental breakfast, free wifi, HBO & encore and a hot tub and pool. Definitely a good place to stay!

Hardly clean. Squeaky, creeky upper floors! Always request the upper floor if you want to get any sleep. The staff was appropriate and friendly. The breakfast room contained three tables. A lot of standing people for breakfast. We ate in the car upon leaving. Nope, I don't recommend this place. And, PS...my husband had to go get towels.
