My husband and I found this wonderful gem to get away from the more touristy areas. The home is absolutely wonderful with amazing views. Paul and Nancy are great people and we enjoyed getting to know them during our overnight stay. This was well worth the drive and we hope to go back to see them again next time we... More

A "Storm" greeted us at the front door. Storm is Paul & Nancy's Giant Malmute who loves attention. This a wonderful, peaceful and beautiful location for just relaxing. The reading area on the 2nd floor has tremedous views of both Canadian and US mountain peaks to the east and a great place to have a cup of coffee and watch... More

I can not say enough about what a wonderful experience our stay was. The views, conversation, accommodations, and amazing breakfasts were all something we will remember for years to come. If you want to get away from the hustle of resort towns and just be surrounded by Gods creation and be close to Glacier National Park, you can't beat this... More

We loved everything about our stay at The Way---beautiful view of the mountains, comfortable and cozy accommodations & delicious breakfasts! But most of all we enjoyed our conversations with Paul & Nancy...such gracious hosts with lots of good stories and pictures to share!! We hope to return someday.

Comfort and hospitality reign supreme; a remote location, just outside Glacier NP, in the midst of nature, wildlife and solitude. It requires some determination to get there which only adds to the 'awe' when you walk in the door.

We stayed here in one of the interior rooms 4 years ago when we visited Glacier National Park and absolutely loved it so we made it a priority to stay here again. It's a short drive to the park from The Polebridge entrance. This time we stayed in the little cabin outside. The cabin is a bit rustic with a... More

Thank you for your kind words. We so enjoyed visiting with you and learning a little bit about your country. However, I was surprised that you only gave the "value" a three. What can we do to improve that? Thanks again and our best to your family. More

This place is about 3 miles short of the Canada border so it doesnt get much more remote than this... and that's the reason to go. Paul & Nancy are fine hosts, and the rooms are great/big/comfy (get the upstairs room with the balcony if you can). While there is some wifi, its really only good for a few emails.... More

Thank you for your kind words. We're delighted a Big City guy could relax and enjoy our special part of the country, as far from NYC as you can get! We hope the memories of total stillness and starry nights will be with you in the hustle bustle of life. Thanks again. Nancy and Paul More

The Way Less Traveled is a "jewel" of a find, a luxurious bed and breakfast located 17 miles north of Polebridge and 3 miles south of the Canadian border on the North Fork Road. This gravel road was freshly grated and we enjoyed seeing plenty of Montana wildlife as we traveled north. Detailed directions were provided and “The Way” was... More
