Situated @ 20 minutes south of Livingston, this beautifully appointed Lodge sits overlooking the Yellowstone river with a path down to the river. The cabin was clean and spacious the with a kitchen and a lovely patio with a river view. It also has a first rate restaurant on the premises ( Yellowstone Valley Grill) which appears to be popular with...

Thank you for choosing Yellowstone Valley Lodge and Grill while you were in the area. We apologize that you were not satisfied with the selections for breakfast. We typically have all local fresh products, such as bacon, sausage, fresh baked bread, etc. They also make a specialty item each morning, casserole, quiche, etc. We appreciate your feedback and hope to...

This was by far the nicest place we stayed at during a 15 day vacation. The perfect weather only added to the beautiful location of this lodge. The two desk attendants on duty the three days were most accommodating to all our questions and one even was able to get us a reservation for the wonderful restaurant that evening on...

The views from the rooms and dining experience can't be beat. We stayed in a Cozy Cabin, and enjoyed drinks on our room patio overlooking the river after a day of fishing. It's true that the walls are a little thin, the patio is shared duplex style, and the bed was a little squishy for my taste--it's not fancy, but...

We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. After being greeted, we were told that we couldn't be seated because it would upset the flow of the kitchen. We were ask if we would like a drink? Saying yes, we were given a menu and then we stood to the side of the dining area and not approached again until...

We stayed at YVL on the way to Yellowstone Park with our two grandchildren. The setting is lovely and the staff top notch. All rooms overlook the Yellowstone River, and you can hear the water as you sleep in the comfy beds. The restaurant is delightful; however, the dinner menu was a bit expensive. The chef was kind enough to...

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at. Staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The decor was wooden and dark brown in keeping with the rural atmosphere. The beds were huge and comfortable and the additional make up area next to the bathroom was a lovely touch. The view from the bedroom was astounding - the...

The pictures on the website do not do justice to the stunning views - and the change in colours with the evening sun from the alpenglow to the deepening purple that brings on darkness. Leave the window open and be lulled to sleep by the river Yellowstone. Friendly staff and great breakfasts. Indulge yourself with an exquisite getaway

We just returned from a six night stay here, which was arranged by a flyfishing outfitter. We had cabin 11, a two story two bedroom cabin. It was very clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We're a small, off-the-beaten-path collection of contemporary cabins and one exceptional five-star gourmet restaurant, tucked along the banks of the Yellowstone River on a ranch style property in the Paradise Valley of Montana. Our passions: Falling asleep to the sound of the river (we've also got a weak spot for high-count linens, fly-fishing, and microbrews—you'll see.), anything locally grown (if Chef Marcos prepares it, it's good) and showing off Yellowstone National Park (and the Valley's other endless outdoor opportunities). With our local knowledge, upscale amenities, and taste for both fine food and outdoor adventure, we're a natural base for your Yellowstone-area experience. ... more   less
