We stayed at The Garrison Inn when we were in the area for a wedding. We found it to be a warm and very welcoming place, with a good room and an amazing breakfast. It was perfect. The setting is straight up spectacular, so much better than staying in Kalispell and Gene himself (the Inn keeper/owner) is helpful, easy and...

We had a great time at the Garrison Inn. Gene and Annemarie are a lovely couple and fun to talk to. Gene is a chef and you really should have him fix dinner for you. After we had one of his breakfasts we knew his dinner would be good too. They showed us around their log home which they built...

This B & B is off the beaten track but in a beautiful wooded area with views of the mountains and located near lovely Lake Ashley. We stayed several days and saw a variety of wildlife each time we headed to or from Kalispell. It is an easy drive into Kalispell or any of the area attractions. The owners, Gene...

This lovely B&B situated in the woods high above Kalispell about twenty minutes from town is an all-in-one destination. You don't have to worry about food or drink because Gene, a chef, is there to make a made to order meal and makes his own wine and beer. Anne Marie, formerly in the hospitality business with a famous resort in...

I was hemming between 4 and 5 stars, but went with 4. This is a great place to stay. The hosts are very nice and Gene, teh chef, makes an amazing breakfast. HIghlight of the stay. It is way up on a dirt road that is about 10-15 out of Kalispell itself. But I thought this a plus as it...

We (2 adults and one 6 year-old) spent a full 7 nights at this lovely, unique place. The innkeepers were so wonderful, welcoming us like family. The views are lovely, especially when we sat on the balcony sipping coffee and letting the hummingbirds buzz close by. The sun rises over the Glacier peaks in the distance, but other mountains and...

A quiet and out of the way location with a view that is really, really spectacular. One could sit all day drinking the chefs home brew beer and never tire of the scenery, humming birds, squirrels, and the great food.

My fiancé booked this for an early anniversary get away. The initial view was fantastic but when we walked through the cabin and saw the view of the valley it was breathtaking. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us right away. We asked for some advice on a few places to go and they were great. Room was fantastic...

Gene and Anne Marie have a beautiful place and are great hosts! And the food, well what can I say? I am a picky person after being in the hospitality some years ago now. I was happy and my tummy was happy. What a great place to go to for my first travels by myself to where I knew no...

Thank you Gene & Anne Marie for a fantastic 3 night stay. The log cabin was costructed by the owners & as I have designed & built houses myself for 40 years, I can see the quality & effort that has made this a great living treasure for B&B clients. Then you can add the view of the Glacier mountains,...

“They're all good, see the website for descriptions and photos, and read the other reviews for more details about the Inn and the family. Truly a wonderful place that will enhance your experience in Big Sky Country. Gene is a classically trained professional Chef - BE SURE to make arrangements to have dinner there, you get to choose from a menu of delights you won't soon forget, prepared from local scratch with a great deal of flair just for you. And you'll probably want to pick up his cookbook.”
