The Shilo was very nice. For some reason there was a hotel room shortage in downtown, and we got their last room. The room was big - I called it the Presidential Suite. All was clean and in good order.
Good little hotel.
Stayed a night while traveling. A worn out motel. Carpet is worn and the rooms are ready for a remodel. Actually had “real” keys. The staff wasn’t anything special. The “free” breakfast was not great and there was no where to eat except the room.
It was an interesting stay. The folks are pleasant, but the place is old. Our room had the filthiest carpet, and my feet stuck to the floor standing in front of the fridge. It can be remedied by shampooing the carpet..... but the beds are...More
We stayed here 4 nights in a row. Every day housekeeping skipped cleaning our room. We protested to the front desk and they assured us it would be rectified. No such luck.
