Usually I spend so much time researching where to go and what to do on our vacations. Not this trip! I didn't read one book - we just followed Greg's detailed route suggestions for four days in Yellowstone. His stops were perfect - great hikes, wildlife, gorgeous views, excellent restaurants, and interesting tidbits (like where to get the free Old...

Hi sue9251959, Wow, thanks for acknowledging that we offer "Fantastic service". When guest come to Yellowstone, most have an idea of what they want to see; geysers, animals, waterfalls, go on a hike or two, etc. Well, we want their experience to go beyond the normal or typical and truly experience Yellowstone. With our expertise and first hand knowledge of...

Stayed here for a night on September 6th after exploring the west part of Yellowstone. We really loved the place, we loved the views and we loved the breakfast. Everything was great. Greg even gave us some additional info on what to see and what not to see for the next leg of our trip. We will certainly stay here...

Thank you for your nice review. We are so glad that you loved our views and the breakfast! We are just 4 miles north of Gardiner which offers fantastic views of the Park and the surrounding ranch lands. Most people who arrive, get out of their car and start taking pictures (that says a lot!) Not only do we offer...

Our stay was in mid September. We stayed in the Yellowstone Suite and it was immaculately clean and had plenty of room to spread out and relax in! The suite offers a second floor balcony and my husband never put the binoculars down, the herds of elk were everywhere! Greg was a wealth of information regarding Yellowstone and the surrounding...

Hi DAVID P, Thank you for your kind review. You stayed in the Yellowstone Suite which we call the "Honeymoon Suite" since it is large, spread out and has a balcony that offer fantastic views of the Park and the surrounding ranch lands. September is a great time for viewing animals right from the inn. It is a very popular...

Gardiner is the best place to stay when you're visiting Yellowstone, close the north gate and the wonderful Lamar Valley. The Yellowstone Basin Inn is a great place to stay. Greg is a warm host, always willing to help- unless you have questions on West Yellowstone which he doesn't like ;) Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great...

Hi pverwilt, Thanks for your review on Gardiner and Yellowstone Basin Inn. I agree that Gardiner is the best place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone. I always try to offer great and friendly service. I am more then willing to offer information on West Yellowstone, I just feel it is a busy and overcrowded city next to nature....

We spent 2 nights at The Yellowstone Basin Inn last week. The Inn is ideally positioned for exploring Yellowstone and Paradise Valley. Our room was large and very comfortable with the most magnificent views down the valley. Breakfast was excellent. Greg was very knowledgeable about local hikes and directed us to a nearby valley where we saw 5 Grizzly Bears...

Greg and Sabina offer B&B-like hospitality. Greg is an excellent source for information and advice on Yellowstone Park. We were able to see herds of Elk from the porch. Gourmet breakfast is cooked before your eyes. The lunches are a bit pricey but better than what you would find on the road.

Hi Alex S, Thank you for your review. We are a combination of a Inn and a B & B. That give the guest flexibility to either interact with other guests or have their own privacy.
