I have stayed at many b&b's throughout the United States and quite frankly, this is one of the best. It is tastefully decorated with antiques and vintage items and I mean tastefully decorated (not just cluttered with stuff and no ugly "granny" bedspreads or the unsightly valances). Lovely original artwork is strategically placed throughout. Draperies and bedspreads are beautiful fabrics...

Fort Benton is a genuine, sleepy, friendly, quirky small town with rustic charm and this place reflects that image perfectly. If you want a unique and memorable place to stay slightly off the beaten path then this is the place for you. It's an easy walk to the river and main attractions of downtown. Our only critisism is that their...

We were delighted with all aspects of our stay, from our first walk up to the door till the last cup of 'coffee to go'. The comfort, views, amazing food and hospitality are a good bet we'll be back. The location is a short walk to the fort, the Missouri River and the charming down town area. It's the best...

Fort Benton is a very interesting, pleasant town to visit, but the highlight of the town for me was the Lark and Laurel Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted with our names on the chalkboard outside of the door-a welcoming touch. The house was so cute and the grounds and flowers were absolutely beautiful-I enjoyed my morning coffee outside. Our...

This was our first stay ever in a bed and breakfast and we were not sure what to expect. When we arrived at Lark and Laurel we were greeted by Ross, one of the owners of the B&B, He showed us to our room and gave us a tour of the home and explained the rich history of the house....

Fort Benton is a lovely quaint town on the Missouri River and the Lark and Laurel was the perfect setting to enjoy this town. A short walking distance from restaurants, park and a beautiful and scenic walk on the river. The home as lovely on the inside as it is on the outside. I only wish I was there longer...

We were in Fort Benton to attend a wedding and stayed two nights at the Lark and Laurel B&B. My wife and I have never stayed at a B&B before but I must say we will be staying at them much more often! Ross and Laurie set the bar so high I am not sure we will ever be as...

The only thing better than the location, rooms, and breakfast are the smiles and kindness from the hosts Laurie and Ross. Staying at Lark and Laurel is an experience in old school hospitality from a bygone era in a frontier town that itself feels trapped in time.

One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in. We arrived late at night and Laurie still welcomed us with a smile and a glass of wine. The house is beautiful, well appointed and comfortable. We were there for our daughter's graduation and rented all four rooms in the house for our family. Each room is themed by colour...

So lovely. Antiques, wonderfully & perfectly decorated, and a wood stove; even hat boxes, started as an old Log cabin, which when restored now shows in one of the front reading rooms. We were up visiting Museums, so it was the perfect place for us to stay on this trip. Delightful breakfast.

“The B&B offers 4 beautiful rooms. All of them are decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. Just be aware of the arrangement you are looking for and if you require an en suite as the two of the rooms are en suite and two are not. The rooms also have different beds which is wonderful as it offers a lot of flexibility for all types of travellers. Just make sure you pick the right one for you!”
