The Sundowner Inn is a two story, 40 room AAA two diamond motel, conveniently located in the center of Forsyth. There is a soup&sandwich cafe across the street, and other restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There are several casino/lounge combinations as close as next door, but all within four blocks of the Sundowner Inn. We have rooms with two "long double" beds, 1 queen bed, two queen beds and rollaway, single king beds, and a king suite with king bed and pullout Flexsteel queen sleeper couch. We have four rooms that are wheeelchair accessable with assistance bars, but no roll-in shower. Our rooms are up to date with current industry standards, clean, and with all the amenities you expect with the major franchise motels/hotels. We are modular built, with 11 inches between inside walls, so they are very quiet room-to-room. The beds (see reviews) are the best! Recent additions to the amenities includes 42" Samsung "smart tv's", and 50 meg worth of internet signal. If you are in the mood for a do-it-yourself dinner, we have a patio gazebo with charcoal or gas barbeque and can furnish utensils for eating that are in the office. Our free continental breakfast features homemade hard-boiled eggs, along with cold cereals, packaged pastries, fresh fruit, packaged oatmeal for hot oatmeal, juice, and delicious coffee to wake you up in the morning. Breakfast is available from 7:15 to 10:00 A.M. daily.
