The train goes by. Wonderful location and a true piece of history, I cannt wait to get a discount so I can afford another stay! The lobby is grand the lawns expansive but dont forget to look in the woods on the right to see my fairytale cottage! No, the three bears were not there, but the cottage was oh-so...

East Glacier is our favorite fishing hole. While fishing at Two Med Lake, a lady stopped by and asked how the fishing was. I told her that fishing here is the BEST! "Look at the view. Can you find anything better?" I explained that "fishing" & "catching" were different and said that I had not caught anything yet, but before...

This vacation was in August of 1991 not 2016. It was one of our top vacation spots in those 37 years. We did most National Parks as we hit all our states. But Glacier National Park is considered the best of all with my wife & myself. A lesser known than some of the others but most impressive that has...

A historical place for sure.........but very outdated. Rooms were very small and the bathroom was practically unusable, you couldnt turn around in the shower or bend down. Sink was right up against the shower door. Thank goodness it wasn't hot because there is no a/c - or TV. Nothing nearby. Too far from Glacier Park entrance. Wouldn't recommend more than...

What can you say, this is one of the iconic Glacier Park lodges. The outside of the hotel and grounds are beautiful. The lobby is a cavernous, but still cozy with fireplaces roaring and puzzles/games on tables. There is interesting park and hotel history set up in the lobby. But the rooms are not worth $300/night. Our room was dark...

We stayed at Glacier Park Lodge in June 2016. We had a multi-family group with ages from 3 to 70's. We reserved 2 rooms in the main lodge and the Golf House but could find very little information about the Golf House. So I wanted to give some information about it. The Golf House is a 2 large bedroom house...

We love this lodge and its atmospher, we adore the lobby...but the problem here is the staff... We reserve a long way ago a King Deluxe and request view on mountain as we were here for 3 nights... We got at first try a room on parking lot and as we know the hotel ask for a change and it...

What a wonderful and distinct lobby this lodge has! Very spacious, with fantastic views on mountains from a dining room and most of the rooms. The room was very basic, spacious and with a balcony, but with basic amenities. It has a heater which I really appreciated having available. It is quite dark in the room, but as I didn't...

If you like to absorb history this is the place to be. But the reality of the age of the building means that your bathroom is tiny as it was added later. The bed was comfortable but the room was cold despite turning on the electric heater. The radiator with steam heat was not on. There was no refrigerator or...

First off it is very difficult to book this hotel since the front desk is only operated 9:00-5:00 but we went ahead anyway since this is a historic property near Glacier NP. But since we couldn't get directions it proved hard to find as it is east of the park and we came out the south exit. But the worst...
