This is the second time we have stayed at Elk Horn Lodge ( we stayed same time last year) We love Cooke City, it's a perfect base for exploring Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. The town itself is quiet, friendly and welcoming. Lisa and Jeff are also welcoming, helpful, friendly and great hosts. The rooms have everything you could need and...

I have had rooms at the Elk Horn Lodge every summer for a number of years. We have always had clean, comfortable rooms. Lisa and Jeff, who own and operate the lodge, have become a part of our tree of friends and treat us as such each year when we stay. Although we have stayed in several other hotels in...

We rented a cabin, which was surprisingly larger than it appears from the outside. The room was clean and very well maintained. Wifi was included. It has an adorable little kitchenette with everything needed to avoid eating out for every meal. Full size bathroom w/tub & shower, very hot water - but as the signs note, there's no sewer system...

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review! We are delighted you enjoyed your recent stay with us in one of our Cozy Cabins. Thanks for the suggestion/recommendation for a drying rack for our winter customers. We purchased the small ones last year and we may need to get a larger one for each room and cabin too!...

Spacious, very clean and quiet. We stayed in an upstairs room on the end. There was plenty of room for a family of four to move around without feeling cramped. Comfortable beds. The counter, sink and mirror are in a separate area from the shower and toilet which made getting ready in the morning very efficient. Outstanding mountain views can...

The wife and I visited Grand Teton and Yellowstone for a second time. We had success viewing wolves and grizzlies on a previous visit up in the Lamar Valley in the NE part of YNP.
