Friendly staff. Reasonable price for location. Pet-friendly with no additional fee. Large clean room with microwave and refrigerator. No in-room coffee maker. No AT&T cell phone service but free Wi-Fi. Flat screen TV with cable. Nice towels and bedding. The bed was very comfortable and firm enough for my husband. Coffee available in the morning. No breakfast.

Someone else made the reservation or I would have tried one of the other hotels, but as it turned out this stay was better than my first 2. And the reason for this is that I had a better room this time. I was in room 5 in the small 6-room building right behind the office. My previous 2 stays...

After a day of Tetons and Yellowstone it was time to rest. I had stayed at this property years before. Some of the rooms had been updated, but unfortunately not the room I was put in. One in our party was given a room key for a room already occupied, thanks goodness no one was in the room, could have...

We've stayed at The Alpine for many years now and have always enjoyed our stay. However, the stay for my family in late July was bad. Bad. Bad. We had one of our party not have a room, despite years of loyal stays and frequent telephone confirmation that the room was available. Our rate was completely different than what we...

Our extended family has enjoyed staying at the Alpine for years. We always reserve our rooms a year in advance, with a confirmed rate at the time of the reservation. Sadly this year, one of the larger rooms that was confirmed within a week of arrival was rented to someone else, and so our group was split up, which really...

I am very sorry that the previous management messed up your reservations. I did not have any contact information for you to call you before arrival to confirm your reservations. The only information I had were two last names. Your party that stayed in the upstairs suite had told housekeeping that neither you, nor they, wanted housekeeping. I'm sorry if...

Stayed at the alpine for a family reunion, when the cabin was full. There aren't many choices in a town of 75. Alpine is clean and adequate, but you hopefully aren't at Yellowstone for the hotel rooms. Family owned and operated by new owners. They are very friendly and nice.

This hotel was really a nice break from the 'just get by' of most of the other budget hotels we stayed in during our trip. The room was nice. It would have been nice to have had the time to stay another night. We really liked it - especially when you compare it to the $300-$500 per night rooms were...

I love Cooke City and everything that goes with it. I have been staying at the Alpine for many years. The room is what i expect clean and not to many frills. Its a few miles to the entrance of Yellowstone the northeast side. I love the Lamar Valley and all the wildlife.

While on a month long motorcycle camping trip, a friend and I decided to motel up in Cooke City, MT for a break. We were lucky to find a room as it was a weekend and Cooke City is located on the North side of Yellowstone NP. Our room was maybe not stylish or new but was clean, beds were...

Thank you for your review. I took over at the end of June and now the lobby is now open at 8:00 AM and coffee is available at 6:00 AM in our new coffee room. Next time you stay ask to park your bike on a non gravel surface and we will be happy to oblige.

My husband and I had planned to camp (primitive) in Yellowstone, but the campgrounds were full (you can’t reserve primitive sites), ALL sites were full. This forced us to seek lodging elsewhere, we went back to Cooke City and found lodging at the Alpine Motel. The rooms are just basic, the beds are tolerable, and the room was not spotless...
