Great location to Yellowstone. Lady at front desk not overly friendly. Room was clean. Complementary breakfast area not open early. Bakery next door opens early for those who are early risers, excellent coffee and pasteries.

Having stayed at the Super 8 in Cooke City in previous years, I can say their Wi-Fi has improved greatly. I had no difficultly getting on or staying on the internet. Being able to open the window to enjoy the mountain air was definitely a bonus. I would stay there again and I would base my Yellowstone itinerary on when...

We had a small group of motorcycles riding from Red Lodge over Beartooth and called last minute, we got the last 3 rooms available, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, as it turns out the weather is pretty miserable Dr continuing through Yellowstone. The management informed that they had rooms available and extended our stay with ease. The WiFi...

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We try very hard to get as many motorcycles on the concrete as possible. But the rest of our parking lot is county road. So we use it for our guests, but they will not let us pave it. We really appreciate all of our guests, and I try make...

This is exactly what you would expect from a Super 8 hotel except for the parking lot. It is covered with creek gravel (think golf balls) and has a rather steep double fall line (compound incline) which can be very hazardous to unsuspecting motorcyclists. Being at the end of Beartooth Pass, there were a lot of bikers there and everyone...

The choices for hotels/motels are VERY limited near Cooke City and this is about your only choice. The bed in the room was old enough to pass for a water bed once you sat on it. The rear security door did not work but then again in this part of the world that is not a deal breaker. The breakfast...

The room was nice, clean and had a refrigerator. Poor WIFI. No AC but the room had a ceiling fan and we opened the windows. We drove from Yellowstone in the evening to Cooke City. We drove back to Yellowstone the next morning and were able to see more wildlife in Lamar Valley. We would stay here again.

This Wyndham property was in the ideal location at the entrance to Yellowstone Park and between the mountain peaks of the Beartooth Absarka Wilderness area. The location makes this the ideal place similar to West Yellowstone, but less commercial and more small town casual. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the free continental breakfast was good.. Like most...

Room was nice as was the mountain and town view from the 2nd floor. Shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water... However, the bed was not clean. Several black hairs in the bed and food crumbs! No excuse for that. I complained but received only a lukewarm offer to change the linen. An apology and spirited offer to...

I realize cooke city is a small remote place but a few things could be better. The wifi was terrible. The rooms do not have AC. The view out the hotel room is basically someone's back yard. And they do charge the most of any super 8 motel. The location is good to walk to most things on the main...

I selected Super 8 as a place to stay in Cooke City because it provided guest laundry facilities and had a hard-surfaced place to park my motorcycle (much of off-road Cooke City is gravel). The room was quiet, clean and comfortable and the staff (owners??) were genial. Breakfast was decent and there is a nice Café (the Beartooth) just down...
