This is the best bed and breakfast experience we've ever had, the owners are amazing, the food is top rate while the lodge is warm and inviting. Incredible location, close to Yellowstone National Park, beautiful scenery and some of the worlds best snowmobiling! If you are ever planning a trip near Cooke City, definitely plan a stay with Liz and...

We spent 5 wonderful days at Skyline in September at this fabulous lodge. Rustic beauty coupled with down home hospitality and first class gourmet breakfasts make Skyline a "must return" destination. Our trail ride with wrangler Luke was over the top - of the mountain, that is! We've been riding for 50+ years, and this was our most memorable ride....

The Jackson family has helped us with backcountry horseback travel and pack mules for three years in row. We have also stayed at their delightfully cozy and comfortable lodge. Liz is a great cook and she also does a superb job at making the guests feel at home. Vic is highly skilled and so patient in working with unskilled horse...

My husband and I spent a single night at Skyline on our way from Yellowstone to Red Lodge. We arrived later than we had planned, tired, and a bit hungry. Liz greeted us, check-in was a breeze, and the soft molasses cookies were a welcome treat. We went into town and enjoyed dinner at the cafe she recommended...an excellent choice!...

Had an outstanding stay with the hospitable folks at Skyline. The lodge is western rustic as might be expected. It is clean and neat as a pin. All the meals were fresh and tasty including our packed lunch. This is quite an accomplishment considering the nearest full service grocery store is over 100 miles away. We packed in over 6...

The ranch itself is located a couple of miles *before* Cooke City, when arriving from Beartooth highway. Watch out, as it is easy to miss the entrance in the dark. The ranch is a gorgeous wooden building. While some other reviewers have complained about the noise, we did not find this to be a problem. The ground floor includes a...

Liz & Co. did an excellent job of taking care of us, giving us tips & information as well as providing a wonderful place to rest. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS! We highly recommend the Skyline Guest Ranch and would love to...

I've been to a few B&B's, and the Skyline is similar in some ways, but very different in others. The property is pretty nice - very nice public space, nice hot tub, nice dining area (excellent, excellent breakfasts!). As mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are a bit basic, and, being a wooden building, sound does carry - but, the...

We spent three nights recently in The Colter Room on the 3rd floor. It is basic but comfortable with a good mattress, soft sheets and windows that open to the cool mountain air. Liz and Jan were great about accommodating our needs, bringing a table up for a luggage rack and finding vegetarian sausage to feed my husband. We came...
