I called for reservations for October 5 and 6 and requested a non-smoking room. I was told that all rooms were non-smoking. We arrived and our room smelled very strongly of smoke. We did not complain about it, just decided we could live with it for 2 days. Went to bed around 11 pm and at 12:30am we heard a vacuum running in the room above us. Accidents happen, thought something must gotten spilled and had to be cleaned. The second night we went to bed and were sleeping soundly when at 1 am the vacuum started running overhead again. That time it got dressed and went to the front desk to inquire about it. I was told that they have a contract with Burlington Northern and have to keep their rooms clean. I ask to speak to the manager and was told that she arrived around 8 to 9 am.

We spent two nights here while visiting family in the area. A very nice hotel, it is well situated on a hill that overlooks surrounding hills and trees. Just a couple minutes drive to Mammoth Hot Springs or into Thayer. Our room was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, very quiet, looked out on a grassy treed slope. We did hear someone walking above us both days but only briefly. The room was a little stuffy when walked in but running the fan and heat pretty quickly removed the odor. Our queen bed was very comfortable. The room was quite clean. There was a nice desk and chair plus a comfortable old chair and ottoman to relax. The TV worked well and was a good size. There was a small refrigerator conveniently placed on top of the dresser for easy access. The

Mammoth Spring Park is just across the road and dining is close and plentiful. Outstanding value for a small-town venue. Rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was friendly and competent. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had put in a very long 10 hour day driving, so were very grateful to find a hotel that had a room for us and our Scotty dog at Mammoth springs. This hotel is just up a steep hill about 4 blocks from the springs. The springs are well worth 15 minutes to walk around and they have an interesting history. Now, to the hotel...when we went in our room on the first floor we smelled a very strong odor of mold. When we asked the hotel clerk if it would be better on the second floor, she replied "oh no, the smell is worse up there, You see we have lots of rain and we have a hill in back of us." So, being very weary we retired to our room and after while we didn't notice the smell so much. I guess lots of railroad folks stay at this hotel so smelling diesel all day a little mold doesn't

My mother, daughter and myself go to Thayer every year for a reunion. We have stayed at every accommodation that is offered in the area. This motel is 'by far' the best, cleanest and newest. The staff is friendly and the lobby is well decorated and accommodates several people. It also is right across the highway from Mammoth Spring. We always stay in one of the suites. They are large and have three beds. In all, a nice motel.

This motel looked to have been recently remodeled. Our room was clean and in good condition. The light breakfast was ok. There are not many choices in this area so the price was a little higher than might be expected at $80 but no complaints with nice clean room.

There are not a lot of choices in the Mammoth Spring, AR/Thayer, MO area, but this one is the best and it is pretty nice. This has gone through a couple of transitions and was a Super 8 at one time, but now it is an independent with a nice air about it. First I would warn you that the BNSF Railroad has a lot of workers here and the hotel is contracted to house the non-locals, so it can be full of them. So you had better call and make a reservation to ensure you a room. We were a "walk in" and the parking lot was empty, but they only had one room left and I'm certain it was due to BNSF folks staying there. There are only a couple of things that make me like a lodging facility - clean and quiet. And MSLM offers both. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained.

My husband and I have been using this motel for 3 years (2011, 2012 and 2013). Under new management with lots of improvements. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Complimentary breakfast improved greatly. Coffee always available (and hot). Rooms are clean (and stay clean thanks to the hard working staff). Would recommend this hotel as a great stay. Well done Mammoth Spring Lodge Motel!!

The Mammoth Spring Lodge is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed. I have spent many years traveling around the country and the cleanliness of this hotel far outweighs any other one. The service provided by the staff of the hotel is second to none. They are courteous and assure one that they will go the extra mile to get a customer what they need. I learned through my stay there that the hotel was under new management that has provided it with tremendous improvement. The leadership is reflected in the staff as they work to assure your stay is one of the best you have ever had. They even allow pets!!! for a minimal fee. They have brand new carpet, new tile, bedding and the breakfast is quality for hotel breakfast. This is a state of the art motel and I definitely
