Great little place to stay! Staff welcoming and very helpful. Clean rooms, spotless place, good breakfast, hot hot shower and close to the park. Will stay again. Felt like I was at home upon check in. Love the feel of the place. Good energy. Great staff. You can go across the Hwy to the beautiful Park and walk the trail, feed the ducks and look at the waterfall.

Driving north to Chicago we needed a place to spend the night and this local hotel was perfect for that. Our room (#407 and was on the second floor up 10 steps) was quite spacious, the two queen beds were just fine, the TV worked, and the entire space was perfectly clean. April at the front desk upon check-in was delightful and efficient; our kids asked for a rollaway bed which was brought up within two minutes. Breakfast was continental which included a waffle station, had fruits and cereals. Just what we needed. It’s true I like a luxury hotel when one is available (see my review of The Ritz in Paris) but what I like most is clean and easy. Nothing to complain about with this property and reviews that do complain, what were you expecting? So what if the view wasn’t of

Family reunion. Wife and I room 119. View of grass and stones. So poorly lit at night you can barely read. TERRIBLY damp and musty. AC not worth a dam. My sister and laws had to be moved to another room because the one they gave them was so musty they could not breathe ! Bathroom so dark you can hardly see to take a shower. Shower on the other hand is great water pressure! No coffee maker or anything like that. Price is insane for what you get. NEVER will go back. Sad because the staff is wonderful.

I was riding the motorcycle from Jackson, Mississippi to Springfield, Missouri when I started to get concerned about the weather. I was getting text messages from my wife about tornado warnings and hail warnings in my path. So I looked at the radar, and sure enough, there was lots of red on the screen between me and my destination. I was stopped at a convenience store in Thayer on the Arkansas / Missouri state line. The nearest lodging as just across the driveway, so I took it. The MSL, as they call it, is a pretty normal independent motel. But it was clean, had a hot shower, and a helpful staff. But I needed a place to stay that very moment, and I was awfully glad to have the MSL available. (And there's a Sonic just down the hill, if you like such things. (I do!)

Been working in the area, staying Monday thru Friday morning First week come back Thursday afternoon, room had not been touched, had to go down and get fresh towels, then to top it off no hot water. The following week, you would think that would try to fix the hot water issue, By Wednesday evening, little hot water , come Thursday morning none, Thursday evening still no hot water. Not quite sure what to think about the place, staff seems nice, but the management needs some work

This is our second time staying at this location, slept like a baby once again. Staff is very friendly here. Prices are reasonable. Hotel is very clean and walking distance to Sonic. Location offers a continental breakfast here, They had waffles and other items, which was perfect as we had a long drive ahead. Coffee pot was on all the time so that was nice. Thanks to Heather for the great stay! Will be back again someday.

We were in the area for a friend's wedding. This place was recommended by the groom's family. Overall a nice place. Clean with good staff. It's a bit difficult to find as the entrance is shared with a gas station which is in front. The suite we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It had a weird layout in there was a lot of space between the beds and the TV/hutch. Looked like it was big enough for more furniture which would have made it a bit more cozy. As I mentioned earlier the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We hung out in the common area after the wedding catching up with family and friends. Very comfortable area. The breakfast in the morning was good. Nothing spectacular just basic favorites like bagels, cereal, orange juice, coffee, etc. All in all
