The lobby looks pretty good, but room was shabby and run down, particularly the bathroom. What I liked about the hotel was the size of the room, with a connecting sitting room. Very nice. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was a little below the average "free" continental breakfast. They had the pre-formed egg,...

We selected this place primarily based on TA reviews and price. It turned out to be a good selection. Pros - large room, quiet even though it is located close to IH55, comfortable bed and generally clean Cons - this an older property and could use some paint, some landscaping and general TLC. The complementary breakfast was really great. The...

This was a nice low cost hotel that was formerly a senior living residence. The room was clean and comfortable suite with sofa in one room and bed in another. The breakfast buffet included waffles, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee. The lake in front had several wild geese.

The lady checking us in, I believe her name is Remona, was very welcoming! The room was large, there was the TV room and then a bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was dirty around the floor edges. Not many supplies like Kleenex, toilet paper, or coffee. Maybe more would of been supplied had we asked. It's cozy, but on the...

I elected to stay at this facility because of it's location and price. I was surprised when I arrived that the feel of the place is not like a hotel. In fact, it is a converted senior living facility. So my room was a two-room suite (living room/bedroom). The room was quite nice. The furniture was a little dated, but...

This place has been several things under several different names. It's not america's best -- it's old, tired, and worn. Not worn out. Not dirty. Not falling apart. But dated. TV did not work in my room. Chair was coming apart. Shower walls were in bad shape. Was cheaply built and appears to me as it has been maintained as...

I was traveling to Sikeston and needed a room on a budget. This worked well for that. There were more amenities than I had imagined that there would be (ie, full sized fridge, stove, full sink, etc.). The room's decor was a bit tattered and outdated, but it served the purpose. The approach to the facility is less than desirable....

Walking into the lobby with the grand piano and circular staircases let us know this was no dive. Great evening help made us feel at home. The suite was roomy, comfortable, and quiet. We slept well. Breakfast the next morning was tasty, but the biscuits and gravy were cool - we aren't certain the warming tray was on. If the...

We had stayed here in 2015 and it was fine, so on our trip home from Florida I thought we would stay here again. When we got in the room it was not very clean, new towels and sheets but that was about it.The walls in the bathroom needed to be washed, also the window sills needed to be cleaned, there were ants...

We stayed overnight at this hotel and were very impressed with the large suites and the price. The breakfast was okay but it was adequate. This was a bargain since all the hotels in the area that had high reviews were about $40 more. The staff was very nice! We plan to stay there again when we travel next spring...
