The staff is very attentive, but I was disappointed with the friendliness of the front desk clerk at check in and check out. The facility is beautiful and our room was very clean. We loved the light show in the Grand Hall. There was a wedding Saturday night so the Hall was closed off, but that did not disturb us....

Pretty typical hotel meeting spaces. The large ballrooms seem a bit dated. The Doubletree cookies are always AMAZING!! Great snacks and beverages that were always available. They even brought out a huge ice cream freezer with many varieties of bars. I can't eat ice cream but enjoyed watching other people enjoy it. It's a huge building. The decor in the...

Had a great time at this hotel. Very helpful staff and the facilities were well kept. I am looking forward to visiting this hotel again. Be prepared to do a little walking if you park your car yourself. Not a very long walk, but there is some walking.

Great renovation of a St. Louis icon. The stunning Grand Hall is now a restaurant and bar. Doubletree does a nice job of maintaining the history of the old Union Station with photographs and "train" signage throughout the facility. Unfortunately, the museum was closed due to construction. The rooms were spacious and clean. Because the hotel is built in "wings"...

I have stayed at this hotel probably about ten times. Valet parking is convenient but pricey. Prices for this hotel's rooms vary widely so if your travel dates are flexible, you might want to check several dates. Lots of reveiws mention the Great Hall, and it is spectacular. I love to sit in the longe in the Great Hall in...

We went to St Louis for the gymnastics trials/championships in late June, held at the Chaifetz arena. We had a fantastic experience at the Doubletree Union Station. First off, as everyone states, the atrium area in the lobby is absolutely breathtaking. We had a very smooth early check-in and got our room right away, along with the cookies. Our room...

The nice mall that is pictured on the website and attached to the hotel is shut down. The pond is also drained and smells, which makes it impossible to sit outside at the restaurants. It also makes swimming in the outdoor pool uncomfortable. If there is a wedding or other event in the lobby, the lobby/bar is closed to hotel...

It is a very beautiful motel, friendly staff,we were there for the region 4 gymnastics congress and tradeshow, and the Olympic men's finals and women's P $ G Championships. You would think with all that going on they would have a shuttle to the venues but no so had to pay for cabs every day to and from. Then weddings...

Nice to be in old Union Station, unique, light show in main area, lots of computers to use, good fitness center, convention rooms were cold-bring a sweater, check in had a problem with keys, be sure to ask for the cookies. Nice to have a fridge.

The property is stunning, and sparkling clean with rooms that were updated and lovely, and it smelled great! The staff was fantastic from Randy the doorman, to wonderful Kim in the Executive Lounge, who greeted everyone with a smile and worked so hard to make breakfast and Happy Hour a delight, and Darby at the Front Desk who helped make...
