I spent two nights/days at the hotel. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and unstressed. Everyone from the front desk, to security, to service people provided a hello and had a can I help you attitude. This place is huge, and glorious. A throwback to the Gilded Age. You can feel dwarfed by the size of facility, much...

The Hotel is situated right next to the Union Station and closer to all attractions. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC was not working when we checked in but service arrived within minutes and fixed it immediately.

Terrible visit--will never stay here again. Arrived to a/c being out---no comment or apology from staff, went to lobby to try to find cooler place and food i ordered served cold, in middle of night hotel alarm goes off waking everyone. Finally got nack to sleep and was awoken by clock radio alarm that staff had been too lazy to...

Although I did not stay in the hotel, I was told to visit the property to take in its history as the railway depot to the West in the days of westward expansion. (Ask at the front desk for a brochure explaining the history of the hotel). To come upon the gargantuan area of the former tracks of the station...

This hotel was our highlight of our one-night stay in St Louis - the city doesn't seem to have any restaurants or action whatsoever. So after a dinner in about the only place that was open n downtown we came back to the hotel to have drinks. The bar is so beautiful and there are interesting light shows by the...

Excellent surrounding-the different light and sound show every hour at the main room of the hotel excellent. Service excellent and staff extremely friendly. Only complaint valet parking at $35 a night too high

As a college student back in 1962 I went to Union Station to pick up my trunk of clothing and goodies. In 1987 I returned to Union Station with my sons Ben & Josh. What a marvelous restoration. I was dazzled to see the original station to be refurbished and restored. It is a highlight of MY Saint Louis EXPERIENCES.

I was at this hotel for a conference in July of 2016. It is huge, but the lobby area will make up for any minor issues you may have. There are multiple seating areas, a bar and restaurant service, and every hour you are treated to a light show on the ceiling, from a look at trains, hockey, baseball, to...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was gorgeous, inside and out. It had a long bar in the lobby, and tables everywhere if you wanted to sit and relax and watch the light show on the ceiling. Our room was big and comfortable. It was a little tricky to find it, but nothing major. Comfortable...

The hotel's restaurant manager Thomas took great care of us, by preparing our room in advance with balloons and cake, for our birthday girl. The room was spacious and clean, the dining option was wonderful. The menu was simple but the food was excellent. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Union Station Doubletree!
