Saint Charles, Missouri

This is a beautiful hotel renovated in 2011. English Tudor style with each room named after an English author. Besides being an attractive hotel, all the basics were covered: Quiet room, no hall or neighbor noise. Modern thermostat, no radiator. Whisper quiet air conditioning. Serta pillow top bed was excellent. Great water pressure, and the room and bathroom was spotless....

We stayed here while dropping off our daughter at Wash U. The room was decently sized and the hotel has an aging charm. The bathroom was recently renovated and there is a nice restaurant, bar and Starbucks conveniently located in the shared parking lot. The charm ended there. Our floor appeared to have been freshly waxed and it was slippery...

Two day business trip to a company in Clayton. Recent renovation makes this property a great choice for any trip to St. Louis. Public spaces at the Cheshire are inviting and comfortable. My room was well appointed and not far from the three dining\entertainment options onsite. I'd definitely return.

When you first walk into The Cheshire not only are you greeted by the pleasant front desk staff, but you're introduced to what I can only describe as a "really cool atmosphere". Antiques and artwork decorate the front lobby and are all very nifty to glance at while you're checking in. My husband and I were greeted by Dave -...

I have stayed here several times over the years and the property continues to improve with time. This is a European style boutique hotel with modern amenities and great restaurants and service. The Cheshire has two restaurants on the property that have great food and a Starbucks as well. I did find the noise level in Basso restaurant a little...

We spent a weekend at The Cheshire and could not have been more pleased! The staff was so friendly, the rooms were beautiful and the pool was so relaxing. If you stay you must have dinner at the Restaurant, SO delicious!

This is a lovely hotel, but is very badly managed. The housekeepers were banging their carts in the hallway before 7 in the morning, but our room was not made up until after 5 p.m. Even then, our bedsheets were not changed--they were not changed once during a stay of several days--and surfaces in the bathroom, such as the vent...

I'm very surprised I've never stayed here before. It's now my go to hotel when I'm in STL. It's centrally located to everything. The staff was very friendly and professional. I love the bar and restaurant. They have real bartenders who actually know how to mix a drink without looking in a book.

By far one of the finest lodging experience I have ever had! This place has it all over those big convention style hotels.
