I've looked at staying here several times, but it hasn't worked out. Today, I decided to pop in, check it out and grab lunch. It was pouring outside, so when I ran up to the door with obvious valets near by, no one bothered to open. Granted, it's a boutique hotel, so a doorman is expected - especially at 12pm....

Thank you for sharing such detailed and candid comments from your visit to our bar. I do apologize for the lackluster Bloody Mary and have shared your review with our food and beverage team; unfortunately, we do not garnish them with chicken wings or bacon. We stand ready to welcome you back.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. It was conveniently located within walking distance to the convention center. The staff was outstanding, the complementary beverages, cookies & breakfast was the best! Our room was spacious with a sewing area & very clean. I have stayed all over the world & this hotel is my top pick in the USA....

We had several folks coming from all areas of the US for a training class. The staff was great to work with and made the hotel stay for our clients very easy. Their attention to detail and professionalism did not go unnoticed and I’m so glad we got the chance to work together. Given the opportunity to conduct another meeting...

Overall wonderful experience - the hotel staff were exceptionally customer focused and friendly, the suite was exceptional (was somehow upgraded to a suite), and the entire experience top notch. This is an older/historic property but the overall maintenance and attention to detail is wonderful - the managers reception in the evenings and continental breakfast each morning are a nice bonus....

The Magnolia Hotel is a gorgeous hotel in a very pretty, happening part of Downtown St. Louis. The hotel bar makes excellent cocktails! The décor is gorgeous, and the room comfortable! The service is helpful and friendly! Room service breakfast was such a treat. I give it 5 stars!

The Magnolia began life in 1924 as the May Fair Hotel. Famous even for its salad dressing! The hotel is solid to the core physically. Since opening after renovation in 2015 it has been getting a little tired. However, if you over look the small spots of damage and decline, it is STILL much better than the CROWNE PLAZA at...

I arrived at this hotel Nov 2016. The staff is very helpful, professional and gracious. The queen suite was clean, spacious and decorated nicely. The view from our room was lousy -- looking into the Marriott hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, muffins, oatmeal, yogart, cereals, juices, coffee etc. The hotel is downtown and centrally located...

Thank you for sharing comments from your recent stay with us and I'm thrilled to you how much you enjoyed your stay. Our hotel dating back to 1925 was the first building on our block and over the years others have built around us; I apologize for your view. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Loved Magnolia. Good location. Stayed in 2 queen suite that had two tvs. Very nice boutique hotel. No sofa sleepers though. They have complementary ride to local places. Can walk to arch & Busch/Cardinals Ball Park.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The style of the hotel fits everyone's taste. A little elegant, a little rustic, a touch of contemporary and a bit of just cool detail. It is not over the top but the staff make you feel like it is. We were upgraded to a lovely suite in the 5th floor. Breakfast was a substantial...
