We had the privilege of staying in this gem of a bed and breakfast for the weekend. My sister in law reserved the entire inn for our family as she was getting married in Missouri. We loved this accommodation. We were greeted by Sarah who was absolutely lovely. You can tell she takes pride in the inn and her job....

The Whiskey Mansion Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful place to stay. The old renovated mansion is furnished with replicas and antiques to make the atmosphere quaint yet comfortable. Owen and his wife have done a great job in the restoration after a fire nearly destroyed the property. One thing was outstanding and that was Owen's breakfast. Wonderful.

This property was restored after it burned from arson. I love old homes and history, so this was right up my alley. We stayed in a room with two queen beds which is hard to find in a B&B, so that was a big bonus. The breakfast was nice, and we even had pomegranate juice which was fabulous. There was...

A beautiful home...the photographs of the original family in the home are priceless. The home has been lovingly restored. The breakfast was very tasty. Really enjoyed my stay here. I cannot wait to return; another guest mentioned the museums are a must...so next time I plan to visit.

The B&B is a well appointed Victorian home centrally located. I liked that it was not too crowded with knickknacks. There was a lot of nice wood trim and flooring. They've done a good job of restoring the building. We were able to walk to a nice restaurant from the Inn. Our host was gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed our...

We really enjoyed our stay here, only one night but what a beautiful old house. It was almost completely destroyed by a fire around 1995, and the current owner bought it and spent 12+ years restoring it. It is a lovely place. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and hot, and made to order. He also had great...

My sister and I recently completed a cross-country trip. Our last night was spent at Whiskey Mansion B&B. We were so spoiled there and enjoyed our one night immensely. I am already making p,and to return with my husband, the room was so elegantly decorated and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was great and Olin sat and talked with...

We decided to try something different for our weekend away and I'm so glad we did. This is a beautifully restored mansion in an up and coming area of downtown St. Joseph. We stayed in the Queen Room, which was quite comfortable and featured period items such as a pull chain toilet and claw foot tub in the bathroom. The...

What a beautiful mansion. The accommodations and staff far exceeded any expectations we had. Planning achiever trip just to start there again. Olivia was a wonderful hostess and the breakfast was outstanding. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Traveling through From NE to the KC airport, my friend and I decided to drive through St. Joseph. The town is FULL of old buildings and houses that fascinated us. Something not-so-good happened to St. Joe quite a while ago and huge and "huger" houses, churches and assorted public buildings have been allowed to settle into disuse and varying stages...
