Richard and Myrta have kept the true flavor and feel of what a B & B is and should be. On a scale of 1 - 10, this is and 11! Guest arrive around 2 p.m. to be greeted by a friendly host to show us to our room. The room is cozy and airy with all the little extras,...

Thank you, dear Kathy, for taking the time to review our B&B and to share your experience with future guests. We so enjoyed having you and your husband with us and to have had the opportunity to spoil you a little! We hope to be able to welcome you back in the near future. Greetings from both of us, Richard...

Becky and I enjoy biking all over the world. Les Lavandes was a wonderful stop on our Katy Trail journey. The hospitality was engaging as the owners spun stories of European life and American travels. The healthy homemade meals made our night's stay truly memorable. If you love country life, this B&B is particularly engaging. My only advice to bikers...

Wonderful, compassionate, friendly owners. Myrta picked us up in Rhineland, after biking from Jefferson City we didn't think we could make it up the hill. Loved the tea and chocolates, and tart, and lavender ice cream. The hot tub was welcome after the long ride, and breakfast was great. I recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Whatever might bring you to Hermann the first time--the wineries, the history, the Katy Trail--I think you will find that if you stay at Les Lavandes it will be Richard and Myrta that bring you back. Like some other reviewers, my wife and I are not seasoned B & B patrons (I think this was only the second one we've...

This was our first stop when riding the KATY Trail from St. Charles to Sedalia and also our first B&B ever. We got in a little later than expected, however Myrta was still nice enough to make us some tea and give us chocolates upon arrival even though we missed "high tea". Everything was perfect, from the hot tub in...

What a blessing. I did not expect this night to be the high light of my vacation but it was! We were attempting our first Katy Trail ride and my landmark birthday. We are NOT B&B customers but this experience changed our mind. The service, cleanliness, and food were top notch. We booked a dinner after seeing the menus on...

Very nice relaxing weekend. We had dinner Friday night and the welcome tea in addition to breakfast. Myrta is a fantastic cook! Words can't really express how delicious everything was. They are about 15 minutes from Hermann on a country highway - very peaceful and rural. This would be a great place for a girl's or family weekend. It is...

This is the best B&B we've every stayed in! The food, rooms, amenities, outdoor hot tub and setting were excellent. Myrta and Richard offer culinary perfection, homemade bread and jams, scenic views, their delightful personalities, and attention to detail-on top of impeccable cleanliness and service. We were pampered and could have the privacy we wanted. But we also felt like...

We stayed at the B&B while riding the Katy Bike Trail. The location is beautiful, up on a hill overlooking rolling hills. We stayed in the Swiss Room, which was very cute and comfortable. We enjoyed a great dinner, one of the best salads ever, and wonderful desserts. The lemon tart was amazing. After dinner we spent about a hour...

Richard and Myrta are such wonderful hosts. They were welcoming, friendly, accommodating and presented everything with grace. The food was out of this world, the rooms were clean and tidy and the grounds were gorgeous. It brought me back to my stays at B&B's in Europe. I forgot I was in the states at times! My husband and I came...
