This park used to be part of KOA and is privately owned now. Staff was very friendly. It's off season so everything is closed. Each sight has a fire ring and many pull thrus. Lots of trees and nice dog area

We happened upon Happy Trails by the Good Sam map, and travelling from Elk City Oklahoma eastbound, this is about a 500 mile trip. We arrived a bit early, around 3:30 PM. The office is getting a makeover, so the park manager, Courtney, drove up and escorted us to our site. I am not sure, but I have a feeling...

I pulled into the park late in the evening. I was tired, but happy to see the campgrounds looking so nice. I went in to see if there was room for the night. The staff was friendly and helpful. After registration, they had someone lead me to my site. That was unusual to me. All in all it was a...

Would not stay again...the noise from the highway is just too much! Convenient location, tight getting a 38' motorhome in with a tow vehicle. Gravel sites fairly level with lots of shade trees. Close to Lebanon, MO with plenty of places to eat and things to do on old Route 66.

We travel with three dogs. We needed a place to stop on our way to Albuqueque, NM and Happy Trails was a good stopping place for us. They are very pet friendly and have a supreme area for the dogs with a walking trail that goes all the way around the lake, but we did not go that far. Kids...

Rainy weather closed a couple of our first 2 options in Missouri. We ended up enjoying this park. Beautiful tranquil setting with trees and a dog run and kids park for 5 and under crowd. Plenty of space for older kids to hang out. My niece let me know we needed to take our own toilet paper to bathroom. They...

Stayed in this park for an overnighter. The facilities we not as Good Sam had represented. Park was a former KOA campground with KOA logos in the restrooms. Lower bath house and shower house had sewage odor so bad you couldn't stand it. There are better parks in the vacinity. Don't waste your time here.....

We ( 2 adults and one 5 year old) needed a place to stay overnight on our way to pick our son up from Boy Scout camp in western Missouri and we wanted to "camp" but since our son had most of our camping equipment I googled places that had simple cabins for single night rentals and found Happy Trails....

This is a great overnight place to stop. The managers were very helpful, and friendly. They keep it very clean. It is easy access from I-44 and is located next to the highway, which causes a lot of traffic noise. We would stay here again.

This would be an excellent park if it were moved away from the highway. As it is, the traffic and truck noise is rather intense. We could not get used to the sounds, though in fairness, we have not stayed right next the the interstate highway on many occasions.
