We stopped in on our way back to Wisconsin from Texas. Very pleasantly surprised at the clean and updated room. The check in was efficient and friendly. Nice quiet night. Good breakfast in the morning with choice of cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt (granola and raisins available), toast, biscuits and gravy.... . Would definitely stay there again.

This old motel needs a thorough cleaning, clean bedspreads, newer chairs that aren’t soiled. I would rather have slept in my car. The baseboards were covered in dust/dirt. It may have been updated but not in the last few years. Needs a major overhaul.

We had a 1800 mile 4 night medical trip to Mayo Clinic , Minnesota. This hotel was in the WORST shape we have experienced. NO maintenance, super run down, main first floor side door so broken it would not close ( so unlocked always), hallway carpeting not steam cleaned: sanitized for years, deep musky smell everywhere. We ran next door to Walmart to buy disinfecting cleaning supplies and washed down all hard surfaces in the room. Small frig barely worked, zero breakfast naturally. Meek but nice desk clerk. Toilet reeked too. Just AWFUL

So I spent 2 terrible nights with drinks fighting all night both nights. When I spoke to the manager he was defensive about it and honestly rude. Assumed I was asking for refund. Will never go back..also wasn't a very clean place to sleep

Room was nice, clean, no bugs, no problems. Looked in really good condition. Staff was good, nice. We stayed 2 nights, and charged for 3. Have been contacting them and the Corporate offices, I get absolutely no response. It's been almost 2 weeks now, and they refuse to reply to me or refund. Not recommended.

I recently broke down near Perryville and was able to make it to this Days Inn. My wife called ahead of time to check the rates. The manager was very friendly and helpful in directing me where to park my truck with a 40’ fifth wheel camper. The room was very big and very clean without any funky odors. The next morning my parts were not going to be available until about 1:00 pm, 3 hours after check out time. The morning manager was also very nice and told me not to worry about checking out and that I could stay in the room as long as I needed. Thank you so much for your understanding and kindness during my moment of stress. You guys made all the difference to me and I was able to just relax. I most definitely would stay here again over any more expensive hotel in the area. Thank

We were helped by a very able night manager to finally get a room that had an adequately working air conditioner to be able to sleep comfortably. She made the extra effort to help us get a better room. It took three different rooms to find an adequate one. The first room had an inadequate AC unit and a malfunctioning toilet. The second room also had an inadequate AC unit (the day had, of course, been very hot.). Finally, the third room's AC was adequate. Hotel needs more renovation, in our opinion.

Response from Days Inn P, Manager at Days Inn by Wyndham Perryville
Responded 24 Aug 2019
We are sorry to hear that your stay was not up to the mark. But here is the thing. We are two story hotel and since we don’t have elevator, we usually rent our rooms on 1st floor, unless if someone request us to be on 2nd floor. And when we get that request we do turn on the ac’s For those rooms as we too know that 2nd floor is hot in summer. In your case there was no such request about being on 2nd floor so when u got to the room and turn on ac, offcourse that unit will take time to cool off the room, and in 5 mins you want the room to be cold. You asked for another room same thing as in 5 mins there is no unit that will cool off that fast. Finally u got room on 1st floor which worked fine, n all rooms ac units are same. We do apologize for the inconvenience.

This Days Inn is aged. There was a new Holiday Inn Express next door. I should have gone there but I had already booked through Wyndham. Next time I will pay the extra money to live in comfort. The beds in the days inn were uncomfortable. Outlets were not working. A/C unit was very load. You could hear everyone in the hallways. No one taking into consideration people are sleeping when walking down the halls late at night. Management not asking people to be quiet. I'll never stay at a Days Inn again.
