The lodge situated at the picturesque Gir village Haripur. THE LODGE: Asiatic Lion Lodge is nestled between two forested hills of Gir National Park and Sanctuary. It is away from the hustle bustle of tourism activity in and around Sasan. It offers a quite ambience and serene beauty which is perfect for an ideal vacation. Truly eco-conscious, the resort has been created with naturally and locally found indigenous materials. When we planned our trip to Sasan Gir, we were very clear - we did not want to stay in any "branded" resorts / hotels but wanted to explore something different. We finalised on Asiatic Lion Lodge and it turned out to be the best decision. The support provided by the booking team gave us a glimpse of what we should expect. Friendly staff, fantastic food and fun stay - these summarise our experience at the Lodge. My wife, my 9 year old son and I visited Sasan Gir for a 4 nights' trip and we all loved the experience thoroughly! The local staff took us for a Mango farm walk plus the amenities within the resort were good enough to keep us engaged and excited! The Lodge management helped us with the Safaris (5 safaris to the jungle and 1 to Devaliya). The staff also took us to nearby villages for temple visit and Holi Darshan. All and all, a wonderful experience. Amongst many other things, the food and people stood out for us! We look forward to staying with the team again!…

Month of February is transition of season and we consider best time to visit forest full of nature. We took a 2 days trip to Sasangir to enjoy nature and of course in company of Asiatic Lion. when you take a full safari trip in a unique forest like Sasan, you need equally good accommodation to re ax at the end of day. We booked Asiatic Lion Lodge at Sasangir, and it was to the our need and expectation. this place is very well located, quite and fully to the expectation to the people like us. they serve hot, tasty simple vegetarian food, staff at dinning is also very good. We wanted to meet sheaf after having a nice meal and to utter surprise we meet a lady who was at lead in kitchen. The front office staff is also very helpful, specially HR manager Mr Nikunj an ever ready guy. We experienced a smooth booking process including prompt solution to reschedule our booking just on email/ SMS. The overall experience here was great. The lodge is eco friendly and they have been innovative in their approach. The rooms were great, good size and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and sorted out safari and transfers with no issues. Finally - the food was amazing!! We were fed so so well and had so much variety in only a couple days! It was a really nice way to start a trip in India!

Located In the outskirts of Sasan Gir, the resort is Beautiful , calming and soothing. The resort shows the documentaries regarding Lion in the evening and there are various Walks such as Nature Trail and Mango Trail which one can Undertake to get knowledge of the Local Plantation , Farms , Insects and Habitat nearby . Apart from that, the resort offers Some recreational activities like Ludo, mini swimming pool , Table Tennis, Swing , Badminton, Bird Watching Areas. Amazing Flora and Fauna in the resort, perfect for a great Wildlife Safari Stay .

Our stay at Asiatic Lion Lodge - Sasan Gir - Gujarat was excellent. The property is good. Ambiance is also very good. We enjoyed food and hospitality very much. We recommend to visit Sasan during winter as summer is very hot in that area and safaris become difficult during summer.

Amazing hotel with brilliant and attentive staff. Really enjoyed the time a friend and I spent at the Asiatic Lion Lodge. The food was very tasty and the kitchen staff did a brilliant job to cater for us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The team were very helpful in organising our safari tours and ensuring everything ran smoothly with pick ups and drop offs. The rooms are clean and spacious and very comfortable to stay in. Would thoroughly recommend and would stay again.
