It also offers authentic Traditional Gujarati Restaurant- "RASTHAL" which serves typical mouth-watering traditional "Kathiyawadi" delicacies. Other than all the modern amenities -The Gir Resort is also equipped with swimming pool for whole family and play area for toddlers. The pictures posted online by the resort are misleading. The rooms are shabby and not well deigned or maintained. Basic amenities such as water heater also missing. Even charging ports next to beds are absent. Bathrooms stiking at all times and not well maintained. Definitely overpriced, and very dissappointing for what we paid. Only location is good, and food is decent. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Our stay at this resort was not comfortable. Cleanliness was missing. There was a lizard in our bathroom. Food was not at all good. In fact a family who had arrived before lunch were shocked to see that the same food was served to them at dinner. Though primely located I do not recommend this place at all.

Never before I have written a review but am forced to write because of the terrible experience I had in this hotel.The only good thing about this hotel is the location and greenery of hotel...thats it. The Rooms are pathetic. Torn and unwashed bedsheets,dirty pillow,and torn, unwashed blankets were provided to us.when requested hotel staff to change them they initially showed reluctance,giving one excuse or the other .. When I made hue and cry then they brought washed but torn bedsheets. Dining hall is pathetic...Like a govt hospital canteen..No saaf safai..The experience was so bad and horrible that we had to skip the complimentary breakfast.. Some travelling website has appreciated this hotel by giving 4.3 out of 5 stars in 2016-17 and the mgt has prominently displayed it in reception.I did not understand how they can appreciate this hotel for such pathetic service being provided to tourists. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone ..Please avoid or get Horrible experience of lifetime. Also don't go by the pictures provided by mgr as they some of them are illusionary...…

Due to the jungle around there were lots of insect in the room and even outdoors, could hardly even open the windows. The rooms were clean, Food was average, Service was okay (not wow). You will have very little choice for food.
