First, we do enjoy the Lodge. But honestly, this trip has me thinking maybe it's over between us. First -- booked online and got the third night free. Two DAYS later got an email confirmation charging full price for all 3 days. Called, told the special did not apply to us, said cancel the third night -- only took it...

I recently had a group retreat at the Lodge. Room Fantastic, food, Fantastic, service Fantastic, everything neat, groomed, clean, everyone a tentative to the needs even for equipment we needed. Rates good and no worry about the pre-arrangements, they were there checking to make sure we had everything and if we needed anything else. FANTASTIC, for job, business, vacation, or...

We stayed at Avila condos which are really nice. We have stayed there several years only because the hotel is so outdated. We noticed some things at the condos which proved that they aren't staying on top of maintaining their quality. In addition to the deteriorating condition of the condos we had a few other complaints. Dinner at HK's was...

We stay here each year for a professional conference. The location and views are exceptionally beautiful especially in the Fall. But the resort could use a makeover in terms of the interior. It's straight out of the 1980s. The staff is kind and the food is good. Great campus for power walking!

This place is a stunning resort in many ways - the bluff top location, the distinct architecture and original stone work. There's much that I love about it, but there are many problems with it at present. Unfortunately it is such a massive property it would take a huge amount of investment to bring it up to the standard it...

After staying at the Lodge of the Four Seasons at the Lake of the Ozarks over seven times I must say that I was very underwhelmed at the sad state of affairs with our Lanai room. It was on the end next to the restrooms so our room smelled like an outhouse. Even the cleaning staff said that The Lodge...

We stayed here for labor day weekend and the best thing about this place was the short drive to the hotspots (H Toads, Gators). Our "Lake View" room was way off the the side and we could only see a little sliver of the lake, so that was a little disappointing. The rooms were very clean and neat, but it's...

We were impressed with what we got for our money. I had read negative comments about the age of the facilities prior to our visit, but we did not find this to be an issue. The rooms were dated, but large and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered a room upgrade at a discounted rate at...

It’s known, you get what you paid for, is so true. I’ll never sleep here again! My son and I stayed overnight from Sunday Aug. 31st until Monday Sept. 1st and was not pleased with accommodations which previous people who have stayed her suggested staying in the Avila Suites, I requested the Avila suites weeks ago and if I did...

We went for a business convention. It was a very nice hotel. Older very well up kept. Reminded me of a hotel that would have been very expensive in the 70's. I loved all the seating areas. I had two double beds with a balcony view, unfortunately of the parking lot and small canal. The room was good size. I...
