The hotel is very nice and a short walk to restaurants and hotels. But avoid the Courtyard Cafe. Service is abominable. You're lucky to get a refill on your coffee - which you really need since it takes 30 minutes to receive a simple eggs, bacon and toast breakfast. The waitress apologized for the slow service - but the fact...

The hotel sits on the eastern edge of the upscale Country Club Plaza, going about its business competently without fanfare, fuss, or frills. It's in the old Park Lane building, an architectural gem, overlooking Mill Creek Park where brides get their photos snapped by the Nichols fountain. We stayed two nights over the Labor Day Weekend there. Our room on...

My husband and I enjoy staying here when we are in the area. It is comfortable, clean, and very nice. They usually have cookies made in the afternoon for guests. The breakfast in the morning, complimentary is nice, too. Yes, it is nice to stay here. The personnel is all very helpful.

No cooks available for restaurant in the morning so quite an inconvenience to have to find somewhere nearby. Also half the towels were dirty, not sure why they'd keep them in a room when it was so noticeable. At least the location is great.

We stay at this hotel for business about 3 - 4 times per year. The service is always above average to great. The rooms are always clean and well organized. The suites are very unique, but the standard rooms are a little small. The building is historical, so if you like that kind of thing you must check it out....

I received excellent customer service from the front desk staff (Jamie Merl and Candice Bly). I showed up to the wrong Courtyard location and these ladies were very helpful in making sure I was able to get checked in at their location at almost the same rate I had previously.

Loved that this hotel was converted into a hotel from a historic apartment building. Room had plenty of space and the hotel was very convenient to the Courtyard Plaza and the Art Museum. Plenty of restaurants in the Plaza that were close enough to walk to, and other amenities were a quick drive away.

When we planned our trip to Kansas City we really did not know where to stay. We saw that the Courtyard by Marriott at the Country Club Plaza was rated very high and decided to take a chance on it. We were so glad we did. The location could not have been more perfect. We were able to walk to...

Our family of four stayed here on a Friday night. The location is terrific -- on J.C. Nichols Parkway just around the corner from the Plaza shopping/entertainment area. The building is not your typical Courtyard; rather, it is a historic apartment building that has been converted into a hotel. We were very pleased with our room -- 215 -- it...

Very nicely renovated classic old apt. building on the edge of the Plaza, facing a nice park with a great "blue" fountain. Clean, nicely appointed lobby and rooms. Nice large bathroom with an spacious shower/tub and a surprisingly efficient flow-restricted shower head. Only complaint was that the bath towels could have been thicker/fluffier (they weren't super thin, but not thick...
