I took my wife to this hotel for a weekend getaway. The hotel staff was very helpful and informative. We used the complimentary hotel shuttle service to attend Shakespeare in the Park and was quite impressed with the accommodations of the hotel. Our issue occurred in the

Dear DJDonovan816, let us first start by saying how sorry we are for you having to experience an occurrence that must of felt beyond intrusive. That was not fair to you or your wife. Please know we are taking the necessary steps to make sure that doesn’t happen again. From our hearts, we genuinely appreciate you making the initial decision to stay with us and finding the courtesy of our staff exemplary. Thank you for seeing the beauty in the simple details of our hotel and not allowing this unfortunate event to see us in a negative light. We can only hope that you allow us the opportunity to host you again and truly show you the standard of our hotel. If in the future, you and your wife chose to allow us this chance, please contact the front office directly so we can handle your next stay personally. Once again, thank you for staying with us! Dear TravelChapters, Thank you for your fantastic review. Did you know that Kansas City has been called Paris of the plains? It makes perfect sense to call Parker the Eiffel tower of Kansas City!!!! We hope you will be back in Kansas City soon and write another wonderful review of The Fontaine and in the meanwhile, the entire Team, wishes you a Happy Holiday Season. Cheers,

I unexpectedly stayed in KC for a couple of days past my originally planned trip, and needed to find a hotel in a pinch. I pulled up the options near the Plaza and went for The Fontaine. The unexpected stay was not a welcome one (issues at the airport), but the staff at the

This was my second stay at The Fontaine Hotel. The first stay was in December of 2015. The difference from that stay and this one in December 2018 was very disappointing. We booked a suite for this stay because we were in town for business for over a week. The room was in

Dear Emdrizzle, Greetings! We apologize for the conditions that you walked into. We understand how disappointed you must of felt at what should have been a visual welcome that had you feeling comfortable and at home. That is not our standard and we are working closely with our housekeeping department to ensure that a missed mistake, like that, never happens again. With new ownership this past year we have diligently been working on updating the old accommodations and renovating while still preserving the history. We understand that this can take time but we hope you continue to have patience as we take our hotel to new height everyday. We thank you for staying with us and look forward to having you again! Have a great day.

From my stay in a deluxe room, we had a little more space, better seating, and a larger bathroom with a much larger shower. It was very nice and was worth the slight up-charge. The shower was amazing. My wife wants to remodel our bathroom and duplicate the shower from The Fontaine.
