Friends, What's it really all about when your staying away for business? I'll tell you "Service". That's what this hotel is ALL about! Weather it's the fresh baked cookies when you return from work, the Pleasent smiles and "how may we help you" it was such a refreshing experience. Let me continue... the hotel basically has no gym, so they...

Stayed at the Ambassador during the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. The executive king room offered around 400 sq ft and felt even larger. The lobby and restaurant area were chic and service was excellent. My only (small) complaint is the lack of obvious signage out front: the hotel is very easy to miss at night. Otherwise a fabulous stay.

Our stay was excellent. Our two biggest concerns were cleanliness and pet-friendliness. We are *very* picky about our hotel rooms being clean, we even look under and behind the beds, inspecting mattresses. We were so impressed by how clean this room was!!! We are truly thankful for that. Also, our dog was welcomed and treated well. The only issue we...

My girlfriends and I stayed at this property for my birthday weekend. We booked the Loft Suite and it was incredible. The property itself is really stunning. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was beyond top notch. Boasting two stories, this suite is the place to stay. Wonderful living space and separate loft sleeping area upstairs with full...

Just came back from a great visit & will plan on staying here during future visits to KC! Very friendly & helpful staff. Beautiful entrance! But the rooms were what made our stay! Spacious, clean, modern & VERY comfortable. Great beds! Only suggestion for future improvements would be to put a door between the shower/toilet area & the sink area....

This hotel is in an older building with nice modern decorated rooms. Our bathroom was huge and the room was quite spacious. The hotel has a great location near the Sprint Center and the Power and Light district. You can walk to many cool bars, restaurants, the World War I museum and the arena. The hotel has shuttle service with...

Our room was well done in a modern way. With many renovations of older buildings, you have some drawbacks with plumbing or noise or something but this was not the case here. It was like a brand new place with old building charm. The hotel is small with just a few rooms. It has a great restaurant and bar. The...

My husband and I stayed at the Ambassador after seeing a show in Kansas City. Our stay at the hotel really made the evening special. The staff was very nice and friendly when checking in and our room was amazing. There was a huge, refinished fireplace in our room that really brought out the history of the building, while the...

The Ambassador is a 40-room boutique hotel. It is beautiful--the individual rooms and the dining room/bar and lobby. The room was spacious and elegant, the bathroom large and a walk in shower with glass door. The decor in the rooms is lovely--shades of gray, black, white and lots of glass and silver. Leather headboard, leather sofa. You can walk to...

When I first arrived at this hotel for a one night business trip, I was really dismayed. While the location is super convenient (I walked to all of my agency meetings), the lobby looks like a Holiday Inn. Luckily, the rooms themselves are much nicer -- pretty large, with comfortable beds and modern decor. The bathroom was very, very sparse...
