While in Kansas City consider the Marriott downtown walking distance from the power and light district the staff and amenities are perfect and don't forget the wonderful pillows and comforters it's like sleeping on a cloud.

Just completed my first stay at the Marriott Downtown in Kansas City, and I'll definitely be back! I was in town for meetings with a client, and since my preference is for Marriott hotels, I gave it a try. The hotel building is very nice, clean, well appointed and modern. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and...

We met out of town friends for Sunday Brunch and had a great time.. Not the best service but the food was good and we enjoyed the "downtown" vibe. This is one busy hotel and they seem to keep up with it for the most part. We did not get to see a room but I would rather stay in...

Traveling on business and I'm not a picky person but based on my 3-4 visits to the Marriott Downtown each year I think they do a very commendable job. Check in is quick, hotel and rooms are clean and contemporary and rates are reasonable. Lobby area/Bar aka Barcentral is a relaxing place to unwind after travel or a work day....

A big-time, downtown hotel that represents this charming city perfectly. Professional, friendly staff. Cozy room on a high floor with a majestic view of the Municipal Auditorium. Our stay went exactly as expected. Would be top choice to stay during a return visit. Stayed here during a big sports weekend: Chiefs-Chargers; Kansas-Oregon St. basketball; Mississippi State-UMKC basketball; NCAA men’s soccer...

Rooms were clean and fresh. Room service was very good. Large groups of students were there for the week for volleyball at the same time as our conference and the staff handled it well. The Marriott makes an excellent base for business meetings. Loved the view of Kansas City from upper floors. Rooms were great for sleeping. Quiet and dark.

Attended Elite Academy at the convention center in Kansas City, MO. Rooms were booked at the downtown Marriott. Hotel very close to the convention center which was very convenient. Hotel consists of 2 separate buildings but easy enough to navigate.

Went to a large conference. The Marriott is the perfect place to stay. Good food, nice gym, good rooms (missed having a refrigerator). The have very close access to the convention center even an underground tunnel during bad weather. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered room service several times and they were good. We would stay there again.

I enjoyed my brief stay at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The staff was friendly and the common areas were modern.
