I stayed here for 3 nights. I was the only guest so I had the spacious dorm room to myself. I’m unsure as to why no one else was here, this place is great!! I had a relaxing time. The owners are super friendly. The...More
This was a nice hostel near the beach. Nice garden grounds and common areas. They have a nice kitchen available to guests which was great because food in town was either ceviche or meh.
It's right across from the beach a little past the pier.

Thank you very much! - It is very nice to know that the cuisine is to your liking and when preparing your favorite foods, you can also take care of your health.
We have been very happy to share these days with you

Thank you for your interest. I understand that you would feel uneasy at times travelling alone. First of all you should know that at any time hundreds of backpackers are travelling through Peru and i hardly ever hear about any negative experiences. Even solo female travellers are very unlikely to run into any kind of problem as long as normal caution is applied. But it is necessary to stay aware!
This means in cities to not walk alone outside the main touristy/busy areas. Especially in the night. To ask for a 'taxi de confianza' whenever you can or choose a taxi that looks as friendly as possible. You could also use the app 'Easytaxi' in Lima for a reliable taxi! In public transport always keep your eyes on your bag/luggage/belongings.
There is no need to not go to Peru if you worry about your safety. But just follow basic rules to make the chance of having a negative experience as small as possible.
