I hate to tell anyone about this because it's only got about 10 places and the beach is so wonderful. It's a little farther from the airport, but taxis are very prevalent./ The menu is wonderful, cooks are great but sometimes don't have everything which was not a problem for us. Breakfast comes with the room. Bartender/server is great. Pina...

Troncones itself is fantastic. This is a great location away from the spring break crowd. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our trip. This hotel, though, could use a little help from the management. Rooms were comfortable, but our toilet rarely flushed properly. At one point, the water shut off in the middle of my shower. As far as we...

We loved the beach very quiet. The rooms are great, but be carefull in holidays or busy period .They have one small and ugly room that smells insect repulsive.i think it was the room 13. Other than that ,all the other rooms are perfect. Big with 2 beds. To be safe. Do your reservation with them directly. The restaurant is good....

My husband, daughter, and I have visited Troncones many times over the last 15 years, but this might be our favorite of all the places we've stayed. The staff is attentive, but they don't hover. The breakfast, which is included with the room was very good (actually, the eggs, scrambled plain were particularly delicious) and the coconut shrimp was excellent....

Tronco Bay Inn was recommended to us by our wedding planner for our destination wedding site; we also used Tronco Bay Inn for accommodations for ourselves and our wedding guests. The beach in front of Tronco Bay Inn was perfect for our wedding--it was private, tranquil, and gorgeous; it was also very convenient to be able to have our wedding,...

We spent a beautiful afternoon. It is my second time there and I am very happy with the place. Today, the ocean was not as nice as usual, the waves. We're really active but the scenery is always as beautiful. We were lucky to be seated by some zancas (local people). They started to. Sing and play guitar and we...

My wife and I have been to the Tronco Bay Inn several times over the years and each time we always plan to return as soon as we can. The resort is low key but has all the amenities we look for. We are made to feel like special guests without the typical hassles of larger resorts. The rooms are...

A gem hidden in Troncones, Manzanillo Bay Mexico; Tronco Bay Inn; recommended to us by a couple of professional friends and also by a new acquaintance. We are accustomed to the amenities of a private villa in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca and Las Hadas, Manzanillo. We were delightfully surprised and rewarded by this small oasis, lovingly manicured and spotlessly cared for...

I truly enjoyed staying at Tronco Bay and extended my 3 days to a week. I was alsone and had a nice room, walked right to the water, the beach. The restaurant faces the water, food is delicious and the staff and owner are super nice people. I have many photos and can post them (where?) or send to you...

We stayed at The Tronco Bay Inn for 2 weeks in October, 2012, and it was a perfect experience:) The owners and the staff are wonderful, and make you feel completely at home. They help out in any way they can, accommodating all your needs (which was wonderful as we were traveling with our 14 month old daughter)! The food...

“I'd stay in an upstairs room next time, as close to the beach as possible, although the arrangement of the buildings means all the rooms get some ocean view through the treetops. Bring bug spray for a better night's sleep.”

“You'd probably travel to Zihua / Ixtapa (plane) if not driving since it's off the "beaten path" and then take a cab or a bus to Troncones... I came in a van (paid trip) from SMA.”
