We cannot thank David and Michael enough for sharing their property with us on our first but hopefully not our last trip to Xocolta. """THANKS for your Kindness We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every moment. We could have easily stayed another two. The information in their guide booklet was so beneficial and we cannot think of one negative...

That was really thoughtful of you to write such a nice review. It was such a pleasure having you and your friends to stay. You were such easy-going guests, and a real pleasure to get to know during your 2-week stay. We're honoured that you chose Xocotla as your first non all-inclusive get-away and we're really pleased that we came...

I feel so lucky to have landed at Xocotla for this solo getaway! Michael and David could not have been any more welcoming, helpful or friendly. I had all the privacy I wanted, yet help if ever needed. The grounds were beautiful and location, perfect! Close enough to everything that I didn't have to worry about running back up for...

My husband and I rented Xipan for a week and it was a great place to stay in Sayulita. You are steps from the plaza up a short hill. The hosts were great guys and we would definitely recommend staying in their lovely home/hotel. The view from Xipan is lovely, the pictures do not do it justice.

This was our second stay at Xocotla. We were last there 4 years ago and loved it so decided to book again. We stayed in Ixpan this time. A bit smaller than Amixtli but had the advantage of an ocean view. Perfect little kitchen on the deck and super comfortable king sized bed. The grounds are lovely, pool was a...

Thanks very much for your review. We're extremely sorry that you were disturbed by the construction in the neighbourhood. Ixpan seems to be the one apartment that is affected the most, as guests in the other two apartments haven't expressed any concern. We're also very aware of it, now that we're back in Sayulita, but we believe the work will...

We just returned from a week at Xocotla and have nothing but amazing things to say about our entire experience. David was the most accommodating, gracious and friendly host we've ever had and made sure our stay was easy and relaxing. From the moment Miguel met us when we arrived at 8pm (by bus from PV airport- super easy and...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Xocotla for three weeks. The location is excellent: while it is only a five-minute walk to the quirky and vibrant town of Sayulita (with its surprising number of good restaurants) and to the beach, that small distance allow Xocotla to provide a peaceful and quiet oasis to those who stay...

In this noisy fascinating village, the hardest quality to find is Quiet. After a day walking the town and beach, or a night celebrating at one of the many fine restaurants, its a pleasure to return to Xocotla for rest and renewal. Have stayed here five times, and each trip just gets better and better. Michael and David are perfect...

We stayed for two weeks in this charming apartment on a recent visit to Sayulita. Hosts David and Michael were wonderful. They have done a great job of building and landscaping this lovely home (Michael used to be a florist). They provided us with all sorts of tips about local restaurants and attractions. We had a king bed, covered outdoor...

Thanks very much for the great review. The wifi is sometimes a problem especially in the stormy summer months but I'm glad it wasn't too much of an issue for you. I hope you'll be able to return sometime when we're there so we can get together. Thanks again.
