We stayed for a week at Hotel Residencial and found the rooms to be spotlessly clean, comfortable & air conditioned. The breakfast was good, a nice continental breakfast was provided with various breads, cheese, ham, fruit and scrambled eggs. The hotel is extremely reasonable in terms of price for a week long summer holiday & the staff are lovely &...

We stayed at the Residencial for 4 nights for a mini moon break straight after our wedding in July. Upon arriving, we were put up in their best room on the 4th floor, and had champagne, chocolates, flowers and a nice card waiting for us in the room. This was such a lovely touch, as we know they would have...

Very comfortable and clean hotel with a nice staff. The hotel looks out onto the beach and is a short walk away from the beach and several local restaurants. The hotel has an elevator. The room is basic with an extremely small but cute balcony and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was included. Good coffee,an assortment of teas, cereals, bread and...

Exceptional good value hotel with friendly and helpful staff virtually on the beach at Salema. Large clean room with balcony and bath. 2 minutes from the bus stop for Lagos or Sagres. Highly recommended.

We were booked in here for one night. Would recommend it as it is in a very good location in the little seaside village. The room was clean and we had a balcony to sit out and get some evening sun. Was tidy and comfortable. We will probably book again as the continental breakfast made it an even better stay....

Older well kept hotel overlooking beach in a quiet village with good restaurants. Rooms good size with small balcony. Good basic breakfast buffet with fruit, breads, eggs, cheese etc included but does not start until 8 o'clock but nearby restaurants are open.

We just love this hotel. The staff are so friendly, so is everyone in Salema! It's in a great position, in the little square in the centre over looking the beach. Every room has a balcony and they all face the same way so every room is a good room. You get sun on the balcony from lunchtime until late...

A great place to stay. Right on the beach with many restaurants nearby. Hotel is tired and has few facilities but room was good size and bathroom big. For €65 a night it is a bargain! Most rooms look down on the beach and you can rest listening to the waves come in. Includes breakfast which is ordinary but fills...

We needed an inexpensive stay for one night - and hoped to be close to the water. Hotel Residencial Salema fit the bill! Yes, the bathroom was not sleek and covered in marble and yes, the balcony was more standing room than sitting down and kicking up your heels room. But the room was clean, well equipped, and there were...

Hotel is very well placed very close to a great beach and all rooms have ocean view. Rooms were small but clean and well kept. Breakfast was very nice and beach towels were provided. Parking is on your own, this wasn't a problem in May but not sure of the situation during the high season.
