This hotel is a treat! Situated in the village of Grignan, which you can explore for a few hours. The hotel and the surroundings are breathtaking, all the details are exquisit. The rooms are clean and very nice, and the food ( we hade the 5 course dinner as well as breakfast ) was some of the best I've had!... More

I am torn! If I tell you how wonderful this place is, the secret will be out and it will be impossible to find a room there. I firmly intend to go back! It is incredible! The service is AMAZING!!! the rooms are beautiful with an attention to details you rarely see. The setting in this tiny adorable village is... More

This beautiful hotel is so charming. Lovely rooms and gardens. But the best thing was the food. Beautifully presented breakfast with lots of homemade stewed fruits and biscuits. Also French champagne which was a real treat. Lunch in the garden was delightful and the more formal dinner and service was faultless. Truely something to remember. Grignan it's self was very... Stayed here two nights while on a cycling tour. This property was a cut above the other accommodations we had, and the others were all very nice. Our room was richly appointed, quiet, and very comfortable. Overlooked the courtyard with a wonderful view of the castle. The location is right in town center. Breakfast was excellent. For cyclists, the hotel... More

The prime hotel in Grignan, this is a must of you are visiting and plan to stay the night (or more! See restaurant review also). Super staff, extremely professional. Rooms with tremendous charm and period detail. BUT, make no mistake, this is a modern, very efficient and up-to-date hotel with character and good facilities.

This hotel is probably the most romantic is the whole Drome region. The owner has dedicated all his passion and time to transform this building in a unique property, located at the entrance of the historical village of Grignan you are in the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding lavender fields. A special 'bravo' as well to... More

We arrived mid afternoon after a long day travelling. The Receptionist was helpful and immediately upgraded our room. The place smelt of lavender and the stairs shone from being recently polished. We had an extra bed in our room and rather than being a sofa bed or a "put up" style camp bed, it was a lovely single sleigh bed.... More

A top class hotel and restaurant. It is difficult for me to think of better in France. The staff, the service, the menu, the setting and the rooms were all of the very best. It's location is perfect for exploring Grignan and surrounding area.

Impeccable service and outstanding food in a most charming hotel .. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. The organic pool was most unusual, tho be prepared for a shortish walk to get there, as it's a bit hidden. Loved the bird life, especially the magpie who kept us all entertained flying around during dinner as the self designated resident entertainer. Rooms are... More
