Just the name alone makes this an intriguing place to stay. We stayed one night while visiting our son nearby at Wash U. We enjoyed the experience. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. Good restaurants and boutique shops are located nearby.

My room was clean and large but very noisy. I was over the kitchen and the dishes clanking was easy to hear. The showers from the surrounding rooms were also very loud. The bed was very comfortable and easy to sleep when the kitchen closed for the night. The staff was very nice and pleasant, very willing to assist. The...

Stayed at the hotel just to have a night away from home. The room was nice and clean including the bathroom. The bed was Extremely Comfortable. The staff was really kind and professional as well. From the the young lady who checked us in, to the guy who checked us out, even the valet guy who retrieved my car was...

I had the pleasure of staying at this property last week. When you see the outside it takes you back to a beautiful European building. Stepping inside, it is a customer focused experience, from the front door to the last time you leave. The staff are there to make sure your stay is 100% pampered. It is a historic property...

Had an experience Ive never dealt with before. Made a reservation to stay at this Hotel for last day of 2016. Due to my mothers illness and subsequent death, I forgot the reservation was made and forgot to cancel with me rushing to her side. Didn't realize the mistake until the charge of $207.51 came up on my credit card...

Stayed here on a business trip for 3 nights. Room was comfy, clean bedding and comfortable bed. Floors needed attention dust balls and lint, and found someone's contact lens stuck to the side of the skink, so that lets me know the house cleaners need to do a better job. Checking in was a little confusing, there is no "office"...

I stayed three nights at the Inn to be close to the center of Clayton. The public areas of the Inn are very classy - breakfast (included) was wonderful. My room needed some TLC. But I would recommend friends to stay in the Inn but to choose a room upstairs.

We stayed here during a college visit. The place from the outside looks very tacky, but the rooms are large, clean, quiet and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is convenient to the Light Rail system and the downtown restaurants. My daughter goes to Wash U and this will be our first choice. I wish...

Seven Gables could be a great hotel, but it has not been kept up. Our room had a funny smell, the carpet was old and very stained, and the common areas were cold and drafty. The furnishings were nice and with a little investment, I think this could be a great hotel. Parking cost $17, so when all was said...

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. Seven Gables was built in 1926 and is listed on the National Historic Registry which does cause us to have the creaking steps and other issues from an older building. However we just finished renovating the first and third floor of the hotel in 2016 and will be finishing the remainder...

We loved the bed and breakfast feel of this quant building surrounded by skyscrapers. Also, nice courtyard and nice bar downstairs. We enjoyed our stayed: bed was comfortable, the room was big and nicely decorated, and breakfast was good. I'm giving it 4 starts because I saw a lot of dust balls on corners that are hard to get to...
