We really enjoyed our visit. Debbie was very accommodating to our needs. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The girls enjoyed a painting class in town while the boys golfed. Friendly town. For a peaceful place, we recommend.

We have stayed twice now at this amazing historic location. My father grew up in the house across from the Old School on top of the hill in Chamois. As children, we would explore the grounds of the old school and my father has many memories growing up in Chamois. The rooms are spacious and some have enormous spa tubs... More

This is an interesting 4 bedroom B&B that has a nice view from from the hill. You can sit by the fire pit outside and it is peaceful. The breakfast meal was underwhelming both mornings. The owner is very nice. The place is just too far from the action in Hermann Missouri and there is not much of anything to... More

The hospitality of the owners, Debbie and Leroy, is so genuine and just makes you feel like you are part of the family from the moment you enter here. This old schoolhouse has been beautifully redone with loving care. The history of this building is evident at every turn and it is the perfect peaceful getaway.

My wife and I had a five course meal at this bed and breakfast. Even though we didn't stay here (had to go back home and tuck the little guys into bed), the place is a unique find. We had dinner in the Edna room. We looked out and watched the sun slowly go down. The room is spacious! In... More

We so enjoyed this couple's visit with us! Although not our usual service, we were so glad to provide an intimate setting for them to enjoy a private, deliciously catered meal to meet their need. Sometimes you need a private escape that is quiet and provides a place to reconnect. Thank you for a lovely review! More

My husband found this little gem and surprised me with it this weekend! It was so neat! Not only was the room amazing and huge but the owners were fantastic! I couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay! The breakfast was amazing! I know everyone complains about the tub filling slow, it does fill slow but it really wasn't... More

We loved having you! Our nice tubs do fill slowly and we do let our guests know, but it comes because the water tower is on our property and our water pressure is just a little low for the Jacuzzi tubs. Just a good excuse for another glass of wine! More

The owners are amazing friendly people willing to go above and beyond for guests. Spent Friday in the small town of Morrison eating and drinking to celebrate our anniversary and spent most of Saturday relaxing in this historical Old School House. Will definitely plan another trip to stay here, rooms are very comfy and large.

Now. It's true that this place is a little distance from Hermann but the price is right. You could stay at a place in Hermann but this place gives you something special...history, charm, & uniqueness. The Edna & Turner rooms are very large, peaceful, & have great views. These newest owners are constantly making the place better than it already... More

We stayed here in early August of 2014. The property is under new ownership and being renovated. It is promising. Cool property with lots of history. As new B&B owners all reviews are helpful. We are working to correct the low water pressure issue as we are on the same level as the aquifer and water tower and a building that is 138 years old does have unique needs. I have since created a new room information sheet and include a statement about the slow jacuzzi... More
