This is a friendly, family place that accepts pets and has used washcloths for make-up removal. But what makes it stand out for me was the five star shower experience---spic-n-span bathroom and the best water pressure shower head I've had in a hotel. After a long drive, nothing is better!

Thanks to Trip Advisor reviewers! We never would have found this place on our own. Traveling cross country as we so often do, we decided to take a break from I-70 and I-80 and took US HWY 36. We were going to go to St. Joseph but there were poor choices in lodging. I love to be able to pull...

Five stars are merited because of context. This is not a five star hotel because of any luxuries, but IT IS a five star hotel due to its exceptional value, staff attentiveness, location, and physical security. Most motels at the edge of town with outside doors offer not the best expectations. As to the motel, The Acorn Inn, here is...

AWESOME!!!! We stay at this motel every year as we make our way to Lake Havasu AZ. The motel is spotless, the beds comfy and the breakfast homemade!! Wonderful and friendly staff! This is by far the best value in town.

The accommodations were spacious and clean, freshly updated, and comfortable, with vanities inside and outside the bathroom (fabulous!) We enjoyed a hot breakfast bar, waffle, eggs, hash, good coffee, oatmeal, breads, etc. and a very friendly staff. Will visit again!

Stayed here one night. Comfortable room at a good price. This place does not charge a pet fee and has a nice area for dogs to run. If you are traveling with a dog, this is a wonderful place to stay. I will, certainly, stay here again!

This motel was a nice place to stay while visiting The Missouri Star Quilt Co. in Hamilton, MO. Three of us stayed in one room (two shared a Queen bed) and the space was not large but was fine for night time. The room opened onto the parking lot which made it ideal for loading and unloading our purchases from...

If you are reading this review, you are looking for an economical overnight stay. You will find it here. There is no luxury to be found, but it was serviceable with friendly staff. There was a free breakfast in the morning and a free newspaper, both of which add to the value. It is a motel, so there is some...

My room had a all inclusive bathroom plus another sink and counter outside the bathroom. NICE!!! The bed is very comfy and has plenty of pillows~~I stay here a lot due to my...
