I wasn't sure what to expect since it was "off season" and I thought for sure the splashpad stuff and outside pool would be closed. Luckily it was still nice enough [in late September] so everything was still good to go! We stayed at the hotel. My husband, our 3 year old & our monster 7 month old and I had two queen beds. It worked for us. Pro tip: bring your own pillows if you can! So glad we did because the ones they have are super tiny and we needed to make barriers so the kiddos didn't roll off the bed. [Our 7 month old did roll off the bed on the last night, oops!] We were very impressed by the pool area! I was totally expecting it to be smaller. It was perfect for our little family. There were multiple steps to the pool, which was perfect for me to sit on with the baby. I loved that they had a little concession set up for ice cream, snacks, drinks and pool toys. Next time we will definitely make sure to set more time for pool time! Didnt get to try out the hot tubs or the fire pit set ups! Very excited to make this a yearly vacation spot! Reasonable pricing, clean, and lots to do! Thanks for a fabulous stay! Looking forward to returning and have sent multiple friends information so they can book!

There two different accomodation the hotel and the resort. Summer is the busiest but this was the convenient location for everyrhing you want to explore in Branson area. We did not get the room that we booked but the front desk apologizes because some part of the hotel were under construction. Our room is a little dated but it was clean and still had comfortable 3 day stay. Kids enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor pool.

We went for a short vacation before my granddaughter started back to school. I had a wonderful group of people helping me plan a vaca that would be fun for us. I am handicapped and asked for a room with a walk in shower with a chair. Branson.com worked hard for me to find the right accommodations. After talking to Laura at the Welk resort, Curtis was back and forth with she and I until we had what we would need. Laura said the handicapped room came with a king bed instead of 2 queen, but they could bring in a pallet for my granddaughter if needed. All seemed well. When we got there our room had been given to someone else, and there were no more handicapped available. We went ahead and went to the regular room, though it was very hard to maneuver my chair. I also had my service dog and ESA dog, with their cards and paperwork and vaccines. Apparently someone complained about our dogs and I know who it was because, when I came around the corner, my dogs were on my lap. He acted like I was going to run him over and he jumped back like he was petrified of my dogs. I have a Shih Tzu that monitors my blood sugar while I’m sleeping and a Maltese for my panic attacks. They are both about 14 to 15 lbs. and very sweet and loving dogs. I guess they looked like Pitbulls to him, though. Anyway, he complained because he only stays in pet free hotels. Mine are working dogs, yes they are my pets and I love them, but they have work to do when we travel and are at home. I’ve had a stroke and have panic attacks, I am diabetic and struggle with too much insulin sometimes. I suffer from several other health problems also. The manager Natalie, said she had several people complaining about my dogs. My dogs are very well behaved and the only problem I have once in awhile is when someone is wearing a hat and a mask. The dogs have to be able to read the faces and with wearing these masks, it makes it hard for a dog to read someone properly. The strange fella that jumped was the only one that Max started to bark at. As soon as I gave them the command, No Bark, he stopped. Anyway, Natalie said he was so upset he left the next morning and demanded his money back for that night he spent there. He was 6 rooms down from me. I did talk to the people close around my room, and NONE complained. This was all from the one strange man. Natalie told him to speak to the regional manager, and was terribly rude to me when we talked over the phone. After our play “Jesus” we went out to eat, then go to our next show. But, we got a call from Branson.com from a young lady we didn’t know or had talked to before, while we were eating. She said she got a call from the manager of the Welk Resort and that she wanted us gone and to make us a reservation somewhere else. She asked me to move to a different hotel on our last night there. We were leaving the next morning. I told her we would just check out of the hotel and go on back to Oklahoma. But, I was not going to pack everything up and stay one night somewhere else, then have to pack up again. She apologized for what had transpired and we don’t blame her at all. We missed our show for that evening and went back to Welk and packed everything. My husband had it all put in the car when the concierge said no one could make me leave and she’d stay if she were me. Such a very nice woman and extremely caring and concerned. I told her we were already packed and I was crying and so very hurt. Most everyone there was sweet except for the management. It’s sad when people don’t care about each other’s feelings anymore. We love Branson because it’s always been a wholesome place to go. But, we will never again stay at a place that doesn’t care about how they treat their guests. Thank you Branson.com for trying so hard to make us feel better for what Natalie and the regional manager did.

My wife and I recently booked and stayed at the resort this week. Many things did not go as expected. TLDR - The on-site restaurant and bar were closed starting on Monday, August 23 through the rest of our stay. We specifically chose this resort because of the advertised restaurant and poolside service. Additionally, our Standard King Room was an Accessible room and we were told that all of the rooms in that category were designed that way. We arrived on Sunday, August 22 and checked in around 4:30pm. The Front Desk staff greeted us warmly and check in was rather quick since I had booked the stay on their website. We asked at the Concierge desk, when picking up our parking credential, if the restaurant had room service since we did not want to go out that night after driving pretty much all day. He told us yes, and upon entering our room, we ordered over the phone. The staff that took and delivered our order made no mention that this would be the last evening meal that they were serving this week. Back to the arrival to our room. We were a little dismayed at the room being an Accessible one, but it did not really matter too much other than the fold out seat in the bathtub. The next day, my wife and I did some shopping with the intent of coming back to the resort, going poolside and order food and drinks. When I scanned the QR code on the sign, picked out items to order and call, I got no answer. When I called the front desk to find out, I was then told that the restaurant had ceased all lunch, dinner and bar operations and would only be open for breakfast for the remainder of our stay. We decided to enjoy the pool activities for the remainder of the day, thankful that they had some soft drink service inside the Splashatorium so that we didn't dehydrate on that 99 degree day. Upon return to the hotel lobby, I asked to speak to the manager, who came out quickly and listened intently to my question regarding the restaurant. She then told me, rather brusquely, that there was nothing she could do about the restaurant service, that it was their slow period before Labor Day and there was really nothing else to say. When asked about why that wasn't posted on the website, she had no answer. I then told her the primary reason that we chose this resort over the multitudes in the Branson area was the restaurant and poolside service, she stated that the best she could do was a 10 percent discount. When I then asked about the room category and the Accessible room we were placed in, she said that there were only 7 Standard King rooms in the hotel and that they were all Accessible. When I stated that if the website had indicated that the Standard Kings were actually Accessible Kings and that I would have selected a higher category room, she was not responsive. The implication being, as a show of customer service, maybe a room upgrade at this point would be a good idea. She did not take the hint, so I no longer pressed the issue. TBH, this hotel does have a lot to offer, but we had such a bad taste in our mouths, we decided to spend the majority of our time off of the resort. As we had selected this destination as a relaxing, wind down, vacation, getting in the car and driving back the five or so miles back to Branson for every meal, did not really let us get that needed relaxation. PROS: Fantastic Splashitorium pool area. Very clean and well maintained. Room cleanliness was satisfactory, but no housekeeping service available during stay. Lots of activities to choose from on the resort, to include an on-site Escape Room and Mini Golf, again, things that would have normally kept us on property CONS: Deception in room category, lack of notification regarding restaurant service, away from U.S. 76 Blvd, which, if you are going to have to travel to have any dining options during restaurant closure. We did get our 10% discount (amounting to around $45), but when you think of the room upgrade I would have purchased (additional $20/night), food we would have bought onsite ($40/breakfast, $50/lunch, $65/dinner) for two for five days and drinks by the pool ($20 margarita pitchers x 2 per day), you can see how much money (about $1000) this resort left on the table and not in their registers, not to mention that I am a 25% tipper, so their servers and attendants missed out on some serious revenue.

Family vacation, stayed 4 nights at the Lodge/Hotel with a 6 & 8 year old. Kids loved the water park, mini golf. We didn’t make it to the Escape Room, but it looked interesting, too. Overall, the water park was great for the kids and us. It only has one slide, but plenty of pool areas, plus a splash park area. It was perfect for us. It was not crowded at all, which was a bonus! The pool area allowed for us to hang out, maybe consume an adult beverage or two, and the kids run free, yet still in sight. The slide was fun for us, too! Just to set the right expectations, this is not Great Wolf Lodge when it comes to slides and activities, but it’s about 1/3 the price. At $86/night, I’d call this an amazing value. We did add the rise and shine breakfast option for an additional $21/nt. Basically this gave us a $120 credit which paid for all our breakfast. And the breakfast was not a standard hotel bar with powdered eggs and warmed up prepackaged stuff, they had a buffet with REAL food on it. All of it was good and worth the added cost, especially when you factor in the convenience of it being on site. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was average. It was clean, comfortable. Some things could use some normal maintenance and upkeep, but not worth criticizing. Location was great. Very convenient to the rest of Branson attractions.
