Detailed Reviews
We had spent almost 2 months planning a vacation with another couple and approximately 35 hours before departure, they were forced to cancel due to medical reasons. So, I got busy trying to plan a few days in Branson, (previously not one of our intended destinations), had a great time, but one definite “plus” for our last-minute change was booking three nights at the Green Gables Inn.
We normally do not get hung up with certain chains or brand names, and frequently try to support the “Mom & Pop” business both around home and when on the road. The reviews were very good, and the p kibitzing hatrice was within our budget, so we gave it a shot.
All of the staff encountered were very friendly and helpful, from the cleaning staff to the breakfast gals, and the desk folks. During the overall trip, we spent 6 nights in 3 different motels, (all in the same price range), and my wife states that the Green Gables Inn had the cleanest bathroom of any tat we stayed in – hands down. The room was adequately furnished, with an acceptable level of outside noise. And while the included breakfast is on the smaller side, it will tie you over until lunch.
If you’re looking for a friendly and clean “budget” motel without all the high-end bells and whistles, (and the price that goes along with those), then the Green Gables Inn should be for you. That’s exactly where we plan to stay the next time we visit Branson.

This is a very nice hotel. The owner Sheila is very nice and accommodating, Mary Lin checked me in, was very professional, and great at local restaurant recommendations and Alora did a bang-up job taking care of my room while I was there. I did not use the pool but observed several people enjoying themselves in it. The room has everything you need a good-sized fridge, microwave, and everything else that comes in a standard room. If you're on a bike, the front half of the lot is level and the back half has a slant to it, it is in the Ozarks area after all. Panera is right across the street, so if you are tired from a full day of touristing you can just walk across the street for a bite instead of driving anywhere. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the Branson area.

I’m going to give this review 5 stars bc of the front desk lady named Laura. She was very attentive to our needs and was able to get us the last rm when most of Branson hotels were sold out except the $200 ones. She double checked everything so she didn’t overbook during this super busy weekend. RM: 124 Queen beds, was dusty but otherwise clean. Bathroom had an old yellow light and an exhaust fan that was loud. The soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower had cheap like dish soap and it was hard to wash my hair. The AC/Heat worked very good. Nice size refrigerator in it and microwave. It has a right parking lot I wouldn’t advise large vehicles there. There is a extra parking in back on gravel for a few bigger vehicles but that’s all. Level parking lot. Breakfast was good, normal food selection and clean area. for eating. The only things that was negative is the walls are thin and we could hear a father screaming at his son to get his pj’s for an hour and they didn’t go to sleep till 12am :/ not the hotels fault but thin walls. It was a sold out weekend for Branson so we expected a lot of ppl at the hotels. We might be back. I wouldn’t pay over $120 for the room if I did.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and beds were fairly comfortable. The rooms are in need of some updating, but like I said, our room was very clean. Breakfast was waffles, muffins, coffee and three kinds of juice. Was somewhat disappointed because of the excellent reviews, but it's not a bad place to stay. Very quiet.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and it worked very well for us. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It is an older motel, so the rooms are larger than some of the newer ones which was a plus. The breakfast was good with biscuits and gravy, assorted pastries and a waffle maker that worked well. One thing that it lacks is parking if it is full. If there are lots of trucks it can be a little more difficult to maneuver.

This Hotel is located just off the strip. There is easy access to Walmart and much of the busy part of the strip via side access road. The front desk service was great. We stay in Branson often and this was our first time staying here. We loved it. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and bigger than some of the other places we have stayed.

This was a very convenient place to stay. It’s like 2 blocks off 76. We had a king room and it was very clean and there was a couch in our room too. There is breakfast with waffles, biscuits, gravy, muffins, cereal, bagels and such. It was quiet at night too.

Spent two nights here on our recent Branson trip, but would happily stay much longer. While the hotel is certainly an older building, it was very clean and very well maintained. We were impressed the moment we walked in. The staff we talked to were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was just off the strip, so a short drive to all the attractions (sadly nothing is really walkable in Branson). Next time we are in the area, we are going to stay at the Green Gables Inn.

We were impressed that a Gideon Bible was open on the table. Most hotels have very few places to plug in a charger, and there were plenty available in the room. The beds were very comfortable. The TV worked fine as did the WiFi. The room was clean and the bath and counter area appeared to be recently upgraded. The breakfast was your typical free breakfast, but who can complain about free. The front office staff were friendly and professional. The thing that really impressed me about this hotel was the room refrigerator. I have stayed in some of the best big name hotels and they all had those chintzy little ones. This one was a two-section frig with freezer on top and frig on bottom. Plenty of room. I wish all hotels would step up to these. Great place to stay. Close to everything. Priced right!!!

Spent 4 nights/3 days at Green Gables and had an excellent stay. No complaints with the room; it was very clean and was attended to daily. Although the hotel is older it’s been well-maintained and little things updated that impact your stay, i.e., the elevated shower head for us tall folks! The bed was comfortable with enough blankets and pillows, and there was a comfortable love seat for watching TV. Microwave, small refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee pot, iron & ironing board were all working properly. The only con was the absence of a shelf in the bathroom or lid on the toilet, to safeguard clothing while getting showered. There was a towel bar, but it couldn’t secure a set of clothes without risk of being knocked into the toilet. Otherwise, our room was great, price was great, proximity to Branson attractions was great, and to top it off there’s a WalMart on the corner less than 1/4 mile away beside the ‘Price Chopper’ that sports a very nice salad bar. Our stay was quiet with no road noise (rm. 121) and we liked the ground floor. We didn’t use the pool but saw others having a good time. The continental breakfast was good and comparable to other chain hotels, another value add. We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.
