We have never stayed here, but we did rent a boat a couple of times. The staff is very polite & friendly! They will tell you the best place to fish & what to use. We really enjoyed ourselves, fishing for trout.

Yes, we are canine-friendly, allowing guests to bring their family dog to stay with them in most units, provided they respect other guests by walking them on a leash, cleaning up after them on the grounds, and ensuring they are not left barking in their room. There is a $10/per night charge. Thanks for your inquiry. We are pretty booked for the rest of July but do have openings now in mid and late August.

Lake Taneycomo receives about 700,000 trout annually, most are stocked in summer months because that's when the most fishing pressure occurs. That being said, we've seen more quality trout, both rainbows and browns caught in June and July the last few years. So the answer is summer months, although winter months are good too, IMO. But it can be tough fishing conditions. Golf? Branson has a variety of courses, in range and style. From Buffalo Ridge and Top of the Rock (Johnny Morris, Bass Pro's courses) to Holiday Hills and Thousand Hills (affordable but nice courses). All are public and easy to get tee times.
