We were so excited our favorite spot to stay during our Branson trips was opening back up, and we were not disappointed! We loved our quiet lodge room with the great view and rocking chairs. The pool was steps away and very clean. Also, can't beat the fast and delicious Hunt's Brothers pizza and wings delivered right to our door...

After pulling through the hills of Branson, we arrived at Compton ridge at 12:30am. The security guard at the campground led us to a campsite and told us to just hookup and sleep. He didn't want us to try and park the camper in the dark, which was prolly a good idea. We only camped for a little while but...

We camped here for several days. The new ownership is doing all they can to bring improvements to this park. It is clean and quiet, even though it is close to a fairly busy road. The people who work here are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. When you arrive, they will take you to let...

We camp very infrequently, so take this review with a grain of salt. Compton Ridge is very pretty and very convenient to Branson, Silver Dollar City, and Branson West. The place has nice amenities, friendly staff, and very nice bathrooms. Electricity and a hydrant at each tent site. What wasn't great was the water pressure in the bathrooms. VERY poor....

Please know that this park is under new ownership as of April 1, 2014. So as you read comments prior to this date, just keep that in mind. The new owner, OCP, has done a wonderful job in making this an outstanding park. We stayed here in May of 2014 and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The friendly staff has ensured the...

It took us 30 minutes to even find the room. The only 114 on the map turned out to be a campsite. Went back to lodge and finally found the 100 rooms on a sub level in back of the lodge down a hard to find in the dark stairway. Rooms kitchenette turned out to be a tiny refrigerator and...

We just got back from our fourth stay here, this year. The campground is very convenient to the things we like in Branson. What we like best, is the wide variety of campsites. If you like a pull through, close to the store, and pool, or if you want to be off in a quiet corner, they have it all....

Pulled in late Wednesday night and found our check-in material waiting for us. We chose two sites further back in the park and were very impressed. Easy to back in with our 39ft Allegro Bus. Great campsite with covered picnic table and a level pad. Site had lots of room around us and a short walk to the showers and...

We were setting up camp when a rotten tree right by the roadside fell and crushed the cab of our truck! The owner expressed no concern for us or the fact that we were stranded 300 miles from home with a complete smashed truck. His reply was "I'm not responsible. That's what insurance is for!" I highly recommend you NOT...

In fact, the tree was a live, fully leafed out oak tree. This can be verified by the police report that was written by the Stone County deputy. While the tree was hollow in the middle, it was green all way around the outside. No way to tell by looking that the tree was hollow in the middle for a...

My husband & I have been coming here since 2004 (camping multiple times each year) and we love it!!! Here's why: friendly staff (especially owners) who work with you. I had to move a Witchy Weekend reservation 3 times and they were always accommodating. Clean bathrooms/showers/laundry facilities and the campground is always well maintained. The campsites (primitive or pool through)...
