Lovely friendly staff especially Linda Tongue, Helpfull and efficient. The suite was clean and well equipped. Reasonable rooms at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Pool was warm and a big hit with my daughter and friend.

The location of this hotel is excellent with good links to the motorway and a short distance away from Manchester City Centre, however it is situated next to a busy roundabout and the noise carries. The room was clean but slightly dated. We weren't able to access the Wi-fi or use the television in our room as it wasn't working.... More

We visited on a Saturday teatime when the hotel had a wedding and a birthday party booked in so it was packed. They only had 2 people on the bar, who were also glass collecting. and who struggled to cope. We waited an age while they ran out of glasses and kept disappearing to wash ones from the bar. When... Popped in here for lunch with another couple and the food was really good. Soup of the day, for that day was cream of leek, it was delicious and baked potatoes and various filling were also very good. Staff were friendly and service was quick and pleasant. Would go back again if we are passing. Cannot rate the actual hotel... More

The front bar desperately needs updating all the varnish is coming off the tables and ledges where the beer has been, you can scrape it off without nails and it's all sticky it sticks to your arms, hands, money serviettes, the rear of the hotel is good and great for weddings?................................................

Myself and my partner stay here quite a bit. The staff cannot do enough to help, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Sometimes the rooms can be very very hot and you don't always get a fan in the rooms. Sometimes there are things missing like TV aerials and not all... More

Took lady members of my bowling team for afternoon tea. It was great. Table laid out for the 12 of us. Plenty of sandwiches and cakes. All of excellent quality. Bar open. Service marvellous. Although the Greyhound do not usually do afternoon tea is was well worth it and I/we would recommend it very highly. Ann
