The Greyhound, situated at a roundabout on the busy East Lancs Road. I booked in here and as I arrived my first impression was "a bit tired and likely to be a bit noisy" Parking is plentiful, and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. My room was to the rear, overlooking a field with a big tree housing a busy...

I booked this because of the leisure facilities but arrived late so unfortunately never got the chance to try them. Hotel is very tired and typical contractors fayre. Extremely noisy both with other guests and cars racing past outside. Room seems clean enough. Attached restaurant was quite nice, limited choice but food quite good. there were friendly staff in the...

The rooms are a little tired but clean. I would advise that you get a room at the back of the hotel as the main road can be pretty noisy, even late at night. I used the swimming pool which was a nice way to unwind after work. The pool itself is nice, but note that it is unattended should...

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff . Another positive is use of swimming pool and gym and a good breakfast . However please be aware that there are no hairdryers in the rooms which took me by surprise as most hotels now have them in the rooms. Also be sure to ask for room upstairs on quiet side...

My wife and I have stayed previously here and had a good experience. I think it was because we stayed in the newer part of the hotel. This time we stayed in the "original" part and it wasn't good really. The room was musty the staff left the window ajar to air. Being ground floor I thought it was a...

Passable accommodation . clean but shabby. Doesn't warrant cost. Food mediocre, standard fast food motel type of menu. Only to be used if necessary for location. Could do with an upgrade. Quiet despite busy road

Checkin was fine, The room was clean enough, but there was two iron prints on the carpet and no door handle on the bathroom door it had come off and just put in a drawer in the wadrobe, the shower was just a trickle, the toilet had to be pumped too flush. The bar was suppossed to shut at midnight...

Great hotel, the room and bed was great and the meal was fine. The only downside is that it is a little way out of town as it is involved in the rugby stadium complex, so access to pubs / food outlets is limited. Staff were very good and couldn't do more to help, I'd stay again.

Very nice hotel, great staff and Good offerings, bedrooms are clean and smell fresh, serves it's purpose well, would definitely stay here again when in the area. Breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. Pool looks good did not get to use it maybe next time. Overall an excellent experience.
