I went in February when the winters were at their absolute glory, temperatures went upto -27degrees. We had a drive event over the frozen lake Its a basic hotel, gives you a very wooden lodgy feel. The hotel directly overlooks a frozen lake, would be nice to see how the place looks in summers Not much available to do inside the hotel, everything is outside - like for eg skiing etc

I spent 3 night at the hotel in January over a long weekend and it was brilliant. The place is very good. Do not expect The Ritz but very good Really friendly staff, a really good night sleep, great food, cheap bar, amazing scenery around. Would recommend and would stay again any time

Exactly what you are looking for if fed up of fast food. Excellent lunch buffet with two courses, fresh and good sallad. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, nice view outside of river. Probably best eating place in village as combined with other services like hotel and community senior living (?)

We stayed here when it was -29 degrees outside, so the hotel was an oasis of warmth. The property is relatively basic but everything is a good standard. The reception is small, the bar is cosy and the restaurant food is excellent. The rooms are very warm, considering the temperatures outside. My bed was a single, so not having seen the other rooms, I’m not sure if this is standard. The hotel has an igloo in it’s grounds which they use a bar for functions. They also have an outdoor hot tub which in these temperatures was awesome.

Simple, but very comfortable country hotel in Northern Sweden. Basic, but good rooms, with typical Swedish decoration. Good breakfast, nice restaurant with a river view and other facilities such a large sauna and jacuzzi.

You probably come to Sorsele for the nature and silence, not for the hectic and urban life. And then this hotel is really nice. A nice, low-voiced atmosphere. The rooms were functional. The staff was helpful. The food was good, and it was a very nice view from the dining room.

Options in Sorsele are minimal, but this is a good choice. Simple Scandinavian room with all required amenities. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Also ate dinner in the on-site restaurant which was very good. Would return if in the area again.

Had dinner and drinks on a few occasions as there is only a pizza/burger joint in town but it's awful. The hotel is nice and the food is OK a.d the prices are reasonable. There is never any music playing so you hear everything, I opted to play music from your phone. There is typically one or two people working the bar and check in so be patient. The view is amazing and when you talk to the staff they are super helpful. We go back as it is the only decent choice in Sorsele.

I haven't actually stayed at this hotel, since it's not far from where I live, but I've been fortunate enough to dine here regularly. The lunch buffet (weekdays 11.00-14.00) is without exception excellent. There are two courses to choose from and on Fridays they also serve dessert. A la carte dinner is served most of the year, and a special After Work buffet is served on friday evenings. The hotel hosts Mercedes-Benz Driving Events in winter, during which time it can be fully booked, so check in advance. The hotel overlooks river Vindelälven with peaceful views of the river and central Sorsele from the restaurant. It's situated a stone's throw from route E45, and be sure not to miss it!
