The first time we visited Oxford, Mississippi, for an Alabama/Ole Miss football game, we were told that Puddin Place was the best place to stay. But it was booked. No surprise there. A football weekend at Ole Miss? Maybe we should have brought a tent. But we lucked out and found an empty room at the old Oliver/Britt (now Five...

On a busy game weekend at Ole Miss, "Puddin' Place" is a great choice. Located within blocks of the square, there couldn't be a better combination of convenience and quiet. There is an excellent full breakfast served each morning and the rooms are, well, very roomy! We've tried several places and will definitely make this our first choice. Thanks to...

My sister and I stayed at Puddin Place for one night during June. We were stuck for somewhere to stay so were glad we found a room here. We had the entire upstairs of the house, with two large bedrooms, a great bathroom complete with claw foot bath and a living area. The house is a beautiful old southern style...

Oxford wedding- Puddin Place .Very Dissappointing !!!We've stay in B&B's all over the U.S. This is at the end of the scale. NO Hospitality NO Snacks / Drinks Hard small beds ( little cover ) cold temperature (max. 65) , toliet ran all night. Make a better choice, try the Hampton Inn.

A classic in luxurious and hospitable lodging, Puddin' Place will become my "home away from home" when visiting Oxford on several business trips each year. The hostess is painstakingly cordial - and a great breakfast awaits the guest each day! The inn itself boasts the best of yesteryear in several suites and a cottage - while providing convenient and modern...

In Oxford for two nights for a college visitation with my daugther. There was a conference in Oxford, so lodging was almost impossible to obtain. Stayed at the Super 8 the first night and then moved into Puddin Place, which we thought we be an upgrade. On the contrary, we were so dissappointed. The location is good - convenient to...

This Inn was recommended to us as one of the best in Oxford; either our sources were mistaken or Oxford is in desperate need of upscale lodging. We stayed here with another couple and we all had the same experience. Tired looking B&B with roaches and lumpy mattresses. The house in general is in need of a very thorough cleaning....

Oxford is a really quaint town and Puddin' Place is by far the best place to stay while in Oxford. We stayed in the cottage off by itself behind the main house and it was wonderful. The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous and filling - the owners were more than willing to work with our schedule and would postpone breakfast if...

If you are lucky enough to visit Oxford, Mississippi, stay at Puddin' Place. It's not for everybody - Puddin' Place has only three rooms and no big swimming pool or room service - but it is delightful. The couple that runs it lives next door, but they leave a key on the back porch for you and will not intrude...
